Im stumped!

My playstation 3 works great downstairs then i bring it upstairs to use it and it doesnt work at all. It wont give me the XMB screen, wont play a dvd or play a bluray!! It just stays on a blank screen as if i didnt hook anything up at all!! Ive tried hooking it up thru HDMI and thru the audio/video jacks! No luck with either! I thought maybe i broke it on the way upstairs somehow so i took it back downstairts to the tv i always play on and it worked great! Help me before i punch my TV. lol

Do this:

Take it upstairs plug it in to HDMI and push the power button to turn it on and hold the Power button until you hear a second beep. If that doesn't work let me know.

Vash thanks a mil!!! It worked!!!!! I would of never thought to do that and ill be damned if im goin to bust out the manual! LOL thanks again!

No problem. I figured you just needed to change your video settings. When you hold the power button like that you can change them.
