You Tube app

Postby sportsnut » Sat Sep 01, 2012 11:22 pm

Anybody else have problems with it? I always get errors and it freezes up on me every time I try to use it. I can't seem to find a place to file a complaint. My PS3 is my main computer

The web browser forces you to use the app.

I've seen it but never used it, and not sure if I was forced to since I dont use that browser very much, when asked if I want to run plugins I say no and just type in the address I want to go to, I find the ps3 browser very slow and only have used it if i'm to lazy to get off the couch :suicide:

Yes I could use my phone. But I use you tube to listen to songs that I don't own. The speakers on my phone just don't measure up to my stereo speakers.

Yeah I have a jack plug on my stereo. But again, why look at a three inch screen when I can look at a 55" screen.

I don't mean to sound rude or anything. You have to download the app. If you use the browser to get to youtube, it forces you to download the app no matter what. I just wanted to know if anybody else did. If they were having problems or if it's just my type of connection. Maybe it's a port problem or the app just truely fails.

I should have asked. Does youtube work on your phone over your home network. I assumed you have WiFi at home with your ps3 and all.

To be honest it might just be that Sony sucks with software. I have a stand alone blueray player from Sony. we use netflix app on it. It's a pain to navigate and search. It has connection issues but once it goes it seems to be ok.

I don't know...

But how you been sports? What's new?
