alright first thoughs.

you can definately tell it was made by bioware. has tons of the same aspects as mass effect and kotor. such as the squad system and leveling and inventory management (not as complicated as mass effect)

i started my first game on casual but after a few missions i find it wayy to easy, so i put it on medium. my first character turned out to be a little complicated, so i started a new story as a different race and it got much better.

soo far i gotta say its a pretty sweet game, but i still can't believe this game doesn't have any multiplayer. it looks like it would be perfect for at least 4 player co-op

yah i really want mass effect 2 and assassins creed 2

@ tb - I've heard that its more like baulder's gate, but i haven't played that, so i would have to say its a little more like kotor in that there are more dialogue options between you and your squad and there is a system of like/dislike between you and them that depends on what you say to them or do in game (such as take quests or not take them). Also its more like kotor because you have the option of pausing the game and picking all ur moves for all your characters (kind like vats from fallout 3). but the codex is a lot liek mass effect where you can look at tons of random shit and it will get updated. oh yah also the micro-managing of your inventory isn't complicated/frequent as mass effect. you still have to do it but its much easier.

i'm a kinda far into the game right now and i'm really liking it. it kinda also has a feel of oblivion but is much simpler
