Hey I'm thinkng of getting a 360 and I was wondering if it's worth it. I'm thinking about getting the elite for $320

well let me find the post but you want to try and make sure of the Manufactuer date as the latest ones work / last longer and you probably actually may want to buy an extended warranty. the waranty saved my but as i went through 4 of them.

but i dont know i dont like the fact that you have to pay monthy or yearly for online access. that fact alone almost makes me want to tell you no.

I am probably going to renew my yearly access but i really dont play anything on line but like downloading the arcade demos.

i really play my PS3 more then anything now.

its worth it...xbox live is worth $50 a year it is 1 billion times better than the playstation network....all you need is 5 minutes with it and youll see why make sure you get a NEWER MODEL...you don't want to get the dreaded RROD..also ummm....yea..jus get it....gears of war and left 4 dead are worth the system alone....

ha let me find the model number but yeah as long as mfr date is somewhere around mid 2008 your probably ok.

i actually like the ps3 store much more then the new xbox store. i cant figure out what i am doing with the xbox menus anymore.

well its not worth 350 dollars but seeing the freaks in UNO is somthing else. Nood has a good story about that.

The key things to look for when buying a new Xbox 360 with the Jasper chipset is a manufacturing date (MFR) as early as 2008-08-06, Lot 8031 and up, and Team CSON. (You may have to bribe your local GameSpot salesperson to poke his or her finger through the serial number window of 360 box to inspect the manufacturing date.)

I have to agree with noodlez the menu system works really well. almost every game has demo.Its easy to find ad-on content for games. you can chat with a mic even if you and your friend are playing different games. Which i think is bad ass.
Nagtives.only a few exclusive games worth getting, paying money to play online. not much free content. thats my opinion.

heh, I'd say no only because you have a PS3. Nood mentioned L4D isn't really a selling point as the PC version >>>> 360 version. I think the PS3 and 360 have too many games in common. If a lot of your friends have it then it may be, but beyond that I can't see much point.
