Final Fantasy: War of the Lions REVIEW
9.5/10
THE GOOD-
• Great storyline makes you want to never set the game down
• Intense Battles
• Great Customization for your party so you can make them exactly how you want.
• +50 hrs of gameplay.
• Great remake of the classic.
• New class Add-ons
THE BAD-
• Not a very fun multiplayer.
Review- I had never played the original tactics, only the final fantasy tactics advance so I thought to give the original a try on the psp. After picking this game up I instantly started to play. I found that the game had a great storyline. I played for multiple hours and was still engaged in the storyline. Though the battles could be tough so I had to take some time to train. But once improving your party and updating your weapons and items you could go to the next couple battles or next battle with no problem. The system was set up nicely. The battle system was well balanced and fun. Also another thing that I loved about this game was the job system. You can acquire a job by playing as a character in the job for awhile and when the job levels up to a certain level you get a new one. But later on you had to mix the jobs by having a high level archer and like soldier to get a certain new class. So it put a nice twist on the job system instead of an easy level them up and your done. Also it was nice for me to take a break from my wallet every once in awhile (referring to how you had to by new weapons to learn new abilities in FFTA). I noticed a nice change by you get to learn new abilities just by being in that class and getting AP. Instead of having to buy a new weapon and learn the ability through a certain amount of battles. It is nice to just collect the AP and decide from there instead of having to buy certain weapons for a new move and some of the weapons weren't in stores yet or you had to specially get them. This game has a lot of replay value with all the bonus characters like Construct and Cloud. I have spent +50 hrs on this game and I still come back to pick it up and play with some of the characters that I didn't use that much. Once again this game is well constructed and makes you addicted and coming back for more. I give this game 9.5 out of 10 because it isn't perfect but yet so close.

Re: Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions REVIEW
ok i am limited here but very nice well thought out explanation of what you did in the game and what mechanics in it you liked and those few you did not. nice short concise very good elevator read but still substantial enough to have some one walk away having learned somthing about it.
I am not a tactics fan and to tell the truth I can t remeber which square based turn battle game i played that mmmmmmm it was on the saturn and you could not turn off the cut scenes but it was a wwII themed tactics game. man that goes way back. ha. i m old

Ok I have two questions.
#1: Should I buy this or Crisis core? Im looking at both and im wondering if anyone has played both.
#2: Where can I find this game? I have seen crisis core in stores but never war of the lions.

War of the lions if you have best buys in canada should be there.

I haven't played both but you should be safe either way i have heard that crisis is good and i have played tactics. They both look like good choices.

Mcdonalds is a horrible place. At least canada doesnt' have one around every street corner.

I agree, but they are there. I was forced to go there on the way back from Canada, there was nothing else around. It was gross.

I like McDonalds, course all the greasy fast food comes from the US, no offense intended. The canadian fast food joints have good quality food, like tim hortons. Also I think Opa comes from the US but thats good food and it seems like fast food to me.

Oh course all the bad food comes from the US, yeah well Canada in my opinion is a better country the US has so many problems and stuff. To crowded to and i perfer the colder weather.

TwistedSystem's country wins again. I like the US though, it seems perfectly fine. Plus without the US, Canada would be defensless.
