making ramps and runs a few questions?

Hey what is the best way to make a slant or a run using a blank canvas. i used a triangel to do a ramp but i dont know that i have it so that i can create hils and pits.

any advice or experiances you want to share.

take a square and rotate it a little bit, makes a nice incline.

I can't remember quite how to do it but get the grid up when you make stuff. I think you select it when you press strart. It'll give you a perfect ramp.

At somepoint they actually give you a ramp shape. I guess you get it from the tutorials, but don't quote me.
