What are your holiday plans / family activities ?

What are your holiday plans / family activities ?

Postby twistedblister » Sat Nov 22, 2008 9:28 pm

Ok i am serrious some of you will find this strange no doubt.

in N.O. LA it is customary for people to celebrate the opening of the Fairgrounds Season ( horse track) with a meal and a race. think of it as held in as much esteem as the Kentucky derby is in some circles.

This is how i am spending my T-Bird day. :-) I hate gambling but this beats diner with stuck up relatives in a snoot a torium :-)

Most of our friends are military folk and aren't able to travel to see family, so we're going to have a local "friends" feast where we all bring our favorite dish from our home or "normal" Thanks Giving and pig out. I'm sure there will be wine and Rock Band-a-plenty as well.

Well there's a DnD game Wed. Thurs. or Fri night. Other than that Thursday during the day with family. And probably playing some Tales of Symphonia 2.
