Future practices
I had someone in the clan ask me recently why there hasn't been any more practice sessions. I'd like to, but the turn outs to them have been low. Especially the last practice scrimmage I tried to have, only like 4 people showed up. It was kind of a let down. I'd like to start having practices again to keep working at our air and ground combat skills, but I truly do need people to show up who care. I might start having practices again depending on if people will show up, and plus I've still been trying to recruit new people. I think through recruitment we need to find people who do care and will show up and will participate on the forums. What do you guys think?

oh and as a side note, this thread is for serious discussion. Any weird out of place posts on this will be deleted. Those who do it know who they are.

Re: Future practices
There was some discussion about making practice a required activity for those playing in games that week, etc. Maybe we should pick that idea back up...

Come one guys we know how and have won. its just going to take some time.
I wonder if the other clans sort of go for a goal and watch us and go where we are going ? anyone every think like that ? or are the top tier clans just Uber efficient at obtaining bases and scoring goals?

Re: Future practices
i'd be willing to join practices if we have them. during the week days i won't be able to come every day or a certain times cuz i got school but if we have them any time on the weekend i'll be there. also i dont think mandatory practice is a good idea cuz a lot of ppl can't play some days cuz of school, work, or other things but they might be able to join in some of the matches. just my thoughts on the situation

Re: Future practices
nah I don't want mandatory practices either, believe me I have a life outside Warhawk too lol. I guess I'll plan more practices, it's always a good idea to keep our skills fine tuned and to improve on them.

Sorry but I think to play in GB matches they should be. Not saying you have to be at everyone or something, but people who are playing in those matches need to know what they are doing. Without they could just end up messing things up.

I agree with vash if your a regular gamebattles match player you should have a minimum amount of practices to attend to over a set period of time for example 3 practices a month or something like that...

Re: Future practices
That's a good idea about the GB stuff guys. Maybe we can have TB make an official roster of GB players? Players would sign up to be on the roster (a roster for this website I mean), and have that roster be a tab to click on maybe on the front page of the site. Those on the roster have to meet a minimum amount of practice per month to stay on the GB team? What do you guys think?
I know we already have a roster on the GB website, but not all clan members go to that site, I know I hardly do. We should have an official roster on our website, maybe even just seeing it could catch other clan members eyes and get them to want to sign up to be recognized.

Re: Future practices
i like dw's idea about minimum amount of practice hours but i don't think that coming to EVERY practice for games you are gonna be in is a good idea cuz i got school and its been pretty hard this year, i'm not getting to play games as much as i used to.

Re: Future practices
Just to clarify, I'm not down with "everyone must go to every practice to play, ever." This is a casual clan, and I (and I think many of us) joined this particular group because it wasn't hard-core.
What I was/am suggesting is that if you are planning on playing in a match, say this coming Friday/Saturday, you would need to be at Tuesday's practice to get first dibs on a spot in the match. Meaning the roster for the GB match/game isn't set until after practice. Those who were there have first option to say yes or no to a spot.
In most cases (based upon the # of people who have been showing up for practice) there'd be room for a couple of people in the GB game that couldn't make it to practice. We could handle that just like always (first to sign up in the forum get the spots).
Anyway, I think these are just ideas that everyone is tossing around in an attempt to get us a bit more organized as a clan (which should result in us not getting murdered in GB games quite as much).

Like I say Who I don't mean you need to be at every practice, but a minimum number per month may be the way, or a practice or two during the week before the match. We really need to figure out which is best. It'd be nice to have hte entire roster for a match practice together so we can work out a gameplan.

Re: Future practices
guys guys guys lol...we're not saying people would have to be at every single practice. This clan is casual and not hardcore. Being told to be at every practice is ridiculous. We just meant have a minimum requirement, like maybe be at 2 to 3 practices a month to stay on the GB team. That's it. That's a very small request, not hardcore at all. Although I do like jez's idea about people showing up for a practice to get a spot on the GB team. I think that's a great idea.
