Food Woes

OK i dont know if i can upload pics and since i am RtaR with Phote editing suites then i may not be able to shrink them to the 60 X 60 pixle reqiremtent but i have sacned and uploaded my pics to my pc from yesterdays battle. http://picasaweb.google.com/ptatman/Cake
ok so if this worked you should see three pics one of a magazine and two of my well intentioned misshap. no sympathy accepted please. if you go into a resturaunt and order somhting and it come out not looking like you expected it depletes from your enjoyment. I would not serve this to anyone as its presentataion value is low. mixed in a bowl with Vanilla icecream changes the dynamic and would work well but as a cake on a plate it does not work

My skillet is 12" and the recipie called for 9" . What happend is that the batter was not constrained by the edges of the pan and a real cake never shaped.

Also making caramel is an exercise in zen patience. One second to long and it goes from brown to burnt. ha. wow that recipie took me to the matt like no other in a long time. I will post some pics of my Tres Leche next month when i make it for company. I have made that three times and now on the forth i finally have a proper double boiler so i wont feel like popye ( his fore arms ) when i am done this time. :_)

The taste is right on the money. but the shape was a flop. I need to get a 9 " skillet.

Putting this in Vanilla Ice cream just is over the top and good.

There was another one I was trying to find, but couldn't. Basicly, it was a cat lying in a skillet saying "I is in ur skillet", ya know, lolcats.

Ahaha for some reason I couldn't stop laughing when I read it has a toasted nutty taste. Also about the other white meat thing, in spanish class we had a project about rooms and what you do in each room and for the kitchen I put I eat baby's, the other other white meat and had a picture of fat bastard, I failed that project.

ok clarification the teacher has no sense of humor. Some people cant take a joke.

A friend was in the vets office with his Basset hound ( which sub group tends to suffer from , i am not sure for the medical term, pollops in the anus that need to sometimes be manually released) its why you see dogs scooting around on thier buts on carpet or driveways or grass etc. he started laughing and the Vet got visably upset with his reaction and told him it was a serrious issue that could casue infections and other health complications. The vet should losen up yes its serrious but a dog draging its but on the ground is still funny looking. come on people losen up.
