Its kinda being decimated by everybody in their anticipation for Fable 2. I kinda wish they released LBP on a different day because I would actually get excited for it but hell, Fable 2 is one of the two games that im willing to kill for.

Sorry, but people who are getting that hyped for Fable 2 have very short memories....

Fable 2 to me is a game where I'd really have to wait to see reviews to see how they delivered on their promises. Furthermore, LBP is such a different game from Fable the level creator is a big deal to many, that I doubt it will hurt hype or sales that much. I mean sites did crash when they were giving out LBP beta codes, remember Gamepro?

Have you been to gamefaqs lately? All the ps3 fanboys are taking about is how fable has brought down the hype for games like LBP, I know you guys dont care cause you dont have a 360 but im really pumped for fable and LBP just seems like a 2d platformer for nintendo aged fans. Im just not into that so it seems childish to me. Thats ok though, people think spore is childish and I love that game.

You know, they can keep Gears and Halo, but I must say that Fable 2 is prob. the one game I'd consider buying an XBOX for. That being said, the reviews for F2 have been solid but not overwhelming, and I have to think it's going to be a cult following game like the first was (Fable wasn't reviewed all that well either and was a fun but flawed game; however, lots of people palyed it and loved it for what it was - I played it, and I thought it was cool).

LBP is getting off the charts reviews, and by all accounts is a revoloutionary type of game. No one has really done what it is doing. That and the idea of them being completely dif. types of game make them poor comparisons, I think.
