This thread is not for people to say they aren't getting it b/c it sucks, this thread is for those that are getting it or are interested in getting it. I just wanted to see who was getting it to see who all would be a good person to invite to squads.

Discuss any tips and strategies here as well.

I will probably get it.
Tips get the ability to heal / revive early. It gives you lots of points and it helps your team out. but be smart about about reviving. I hate getting revived and dying 3 seconds later.
Pick a class and stick with it. points are not easy to get so dont use them on something your not going to use.

I enjoyed the Closed Beta, unfortunantly I can't experience the public one. I will be buying the game. After that I will be broke, after having to buy a new CoD, Paying for new ps3, Buying new WH disc, MAG.

I get 150 to 250 points a map.... Not sure exactly how the unlocks are that difficult to get. Now in a few levels they will be harder to get say around level 20, but before that you should easily be able to rack up unlocks.

It is a tricky thing to figure out though, and maxing out a class isn't necessarily the best, it depends on your play style, you can be a jack of all trades with a level cap of 60, I think you could max out one of the three gun types as well. But yeah, your first 4 points should go to heal then revive.

I got the SMG today to see how it was, not sure what advantage it has really.

im up to level 31, i have respec a couple times to change stuff around and see what works before the final comes out and i dont waste my points, but yeah def get the med kit to revive your buddys that i killed
my sniper shoots thru vehicle armor

vash is telling me the new beta has some training portions which swings me back into the probable purchase column. i am stil undecided. i like the games idea but my time in the beta was just confusing.

I'm joining Valor btw. I've already found 5 or 6 pretty cool people in Valor and probably will know of more soon.

The public beta is similar to the closed beta, stuff has just been tweaked and worked on. Beyond that no major differences.

the public beta fukin sucked, nothing but server disconnects that i never had in the closed beta, hope they get there shit worked out.

tb, its not that confusing, yeah sometimes the bigger maps can be overwhelming but the smaller Sabotage maps are pretty simple.
the bigger Domination maps can be an all out clusterfuck at times tho.

vash, i really dont think any faction has an advantage over any other, i play SVER and always will, we do not have nice shiny guns like you do, my sniper has rust on it and scratch marks for each kill, my ak is rusty also. we have to scavenge weapons from the bone yards and we are nothing but the dregs of society, i think that is why i like SVER, but there will be cool players in every group and then also some ass wipes, i have already kicked ppl from my squad for being an idiot but have also made a bunch of friends.

i was thinking of playing Valor. no reason. IDK the differnce between the three really.
Fish's explanation is by far the simplest and most concise i have come across.

I didn't have much problem at all with disconnects fish. Not saying any faction has an advantage, but people I know from past PSN games and elsewhere are in Valor and I've met a few cool people in it.

and yeah crap i had server issues from hell during the open beta, zipper even posted about the issues and they were trying to resolve them

SVER is the overpowered imbalanced faction in MAG. The maps work to their advantage, and their guns are given more ammo and power than the weapons Valor and Raven are provided.

which after playing both betas i totaly disagree with. personaly it will just come down to player preference. I have no problem with any faction, I just started playing SVER and liked the way the characters were and stayed with them.

@tb, the training was just a read only thing during the beta

Ah, well when they were first added in the previous beta they were apparently overpowered, but not anymore. Seems pretty balanced from the bit I played.

i will officialy b swiping a copy of this once the game comes into my store in about a week and a half..i think by next friday i shuld have it, most likely ill b in Valor cause they are american and i always side with the evil americans...soo ill see u guys on the battlefield

well i absolutely hate the 256 player matches...the smaller sabotage matches though are a lot of fun for me so ill be picking it up...and as much as i hate call of duty modern warfare 2 now days i still see it as the better game besides if you guys are getting it im sure we'll have a lot of fun on it and all that
