I'm shocked too. I was a kid of the 1980s. I grew up being a huge fan of his music back in those days. I never thought he would die so young.

Thats really shocking. He will always be remembered as the king of pop.

despite being relatively young in comparison to many of the members here, and most of his fans. i have to personally say, that even from a fairly young age his music has almost always been a part of my life, my taste in music always changes, i can go from loving electronica, to soul music, to death metal. but throughout it all i've always loved his music.

all truly good music should transcend genres and appeal to anyone. and i think michael jackson is one of the few people who we're able to successfully do that. it was just great music.
