Free Excellent Secure office suite for people :-)

I know some of you are in school and i dont know if you are allowed and your situtaion may be uniqe but anyone interested in a MS altrenitve should check this out.

It is comunity suported and it can see / open MS office documents and interact with those. so you can use it as a crossover.

good word , spreadsheet , powerpoint, tools.

just an fyi. i have used it and am pretty happy with it but cant becase of work constraints use it in my daily operatoins.

yeah office 07 is nice becase the Excel program finally lets you sort by color. I cant tell you how helpful that can be.

but some people dont know about Linux and Free Software so i just wanted to put up an fyi. It s a good very simalar suite.

Hmm ill probably check it out on my family's computer but I mainly use my laptop and im trying to save enough space as im debating getting AoC or not. I never liked WoW but AoC looks pretty cool. (AoC = Age of Conan)

the suite is visually very simalar to microsofts office so anyone somewhat experianced with that might just think its another version of it.

good luck and let us know what you think if you do it. I am a huge Robert Howard fan and Connan fan as well. I dont like MPMORPG but hey if it makes you happy.

It is a very versitile suite and its free to download. It can open and work with MS formats. the linux comunity should be proud of this.
