Well nemo is about out of school, May 26th actually. We dont really have much planned for the summer, our plans are actually spur of the moment type stuff anyway, Only have one family reunion to go to in July. So for us its gonna be somewhat boring.
Mostly prolly working around the house, we have finally gotten everything moved and somewhat settled in to our new house. But now we have tons of yard work and landscaping to do. I miss my bamboo. But dont really miss the old house. Hope I can get it sold so I dont have to make any more payments on it.

Anyone got any exciting summer trips planned?

nah, takes alot to get rid of me.... injured not dead
fucked up and ruptured two discs in my lower back, not a good feeling, actually it hurts like hell, i was pissed at a subcontractor and since he left and wouldnt move his crap out of the way i decided to do it myself, that was a bad idea, gave his jobox a big tug and i was down. so now in and out of the doctor, cant walk worth a shit, im crooked and stooped over, biggest thing now is getting the muscles to quit fighting each other so my damn spine will stay straight, i did make me a walking stick outta a piece of copper pipe and some pipe wrap.... reunion is this weekend, i aint going, driving hurts, laughing hurts, and damn i sneezed once :shck:

i amaze myself at my stupidity sometimes :multi:

that sucks fish. take it very easy man. I have never ruptured but i have a sensitive disc. everyonce and awhile if i am not paying attention i can tweek it and i cant move for 2 to 3 days. get some rest and do your therepy. do not skip your therepy. strech and exercise every day if or whenever posible. the more you exercise it the less likely you will accidently strain it.

This has got to be the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. Even tho I have a very high tolerance to pain, this is fkn excruciating. Can't sit can't stand even hurts to lay down. The discs between L3 and L4 and between L4 and L5 decided to shoot out into my spinal cord and my left leg is numb because of that ciatic nerve thing,, I did get some really cool MRI pictures. So now surgery is an option but they say the discs will shrink back in without it, the muscles are so inflamed they won't hold the discs in place and they said they will give me an epidural if I want, but I don't like long needles o_0

I would not wish this on anyone and feel for those who have gone thru it

So I hurt myself too yesterday. I was trying to break off a jammed up steering lock. And well being a dumb ass as usual. I had an easy out (knarled up looking drill bit thing) in a vise grip trying to Yank out a roll pin. Well the easy out slipped out of the roll pin and in an attempt to not bash my chest I thrusted it forward. Jamming the easy out into the back of my other hand. Nice and deep into the muscle behind my thumb. Dude it was like I struck oil. Blood squirting out all over place, all over the dudes car. Doh! It was just a pin hole but man what a mess.

Lmao nymph, good to see you around, and no, I'm still laid up this is really starting to suck ass laying around all the time, I can only last a few hours at work then I gotta stretch out on a table in my office and nemo is to damn lazy to get me a real walking stick

Drew that sucks, but also funny shit cause I did something dumb like that once involving a screwdriver and hose clamp

alive and well... or more so than i was, i can at least sit in a chair now for quite awhile before it gets to damn uncomfortable :multi:

gone thru a shitload of heat pads from walgreens and gotz the icy hot in a think that looks like deoderant... that would suck confusing the two :laugh2:

at least the electrician and the plumber felt sorry for me and made me some canes to walk with, electricaian used a piece of 1'2 inch conduit with duct tape on one end, the plumber was a little more creative and used some copper pipe with pipe insulation on one end :multi:

nope i'm back.

finally got nemos school up and runnin, passed the state fire marshal inspection, got our CO the day before school started, school board is happy and the kids are pissed.
my back is 99.9% better, still sucks somewhat puttin on socks and shoes and nemo is absolutly no help at all, little shit, i would kick his ass if i could catch him :sw:
