I think I need a new PS3...

I have the old ass 60 gig model, and for some reason alot of my games freeze one me. ALL the time. Resistance 2 did it. NCAA 09 did it. And now Batman: Arkham Asylum is doing it. This is a real piss off because it freezes EVER SINGLE TIME I load the game from the checkpoint. Now I need $299 for a slim. >.<

have you cleaned your PS3? I mean really CLEAN it lol. I dust mine every week, and I use canned air to keep it's air vents dust free.

i need to dust mine. pretty much all the ports are covered lol.

i also have to get a new controller, my left stick and left trigger are really loose. if i angle it in a weird way, they move by them selves and screw up my game.

No don't open the console. What I usually do is clean the surface first, then I unplug it from any electrical outlets and turn the system on it's side. Then I dust all over it, then I take canned air and blow out any dust from the vents and holes. Lack of air flow can cause a console to heat up and freeze your games. That's why the air vents need to be dust free that way air is flowing freely from the system. That's pretty much all you gotta do. Also make sure when you're using the PS3 that it's in a place where air is getting to it. If you have it in a tight space where it barely has a chance to breathe it can over heat and lock up your games.

I take my keyboard apart and clean it myself.

Just go to Wal-mart and buy "canned air"...it blows all the stuff out of your keyboard for you.

not daily lol once a month or so. make sure its clean you know?

i just go out and use my air compressor every now and then whenever i think it needs it, when we we're renovating i did it every day
