lovely personal experience on the evilness of symnatec. just bought a new laptop, it's kind of a halfway decent gaming one, 1 GB GFX card etc. whatever. when i initially set it bombarded me with fear messages about BEING TOTALLY UNPROTECTED if i didn't fucking install norton 09. i told it screw you. and proceeded to try and download avast antivirus, unfortunately it kept timing out, and my internet was barely working, basic webpages not even loading.

i figured this was due to me being over my limit so i thought nothing of it, until i noticed my downloads we're slowing and slowing severely after i launched them, despite starting decently.

i decided to let norton be used as a test, WOW EVERYTHING SUDDENLY WORKS PROPERLY AFTER I INSTALLED NORTON 09 THANK YOU NORTON FOR BEING EVIL PRICKS FROM THE PLANET DOUCHE! i'm actually scared about using the program uninstall option now for fear norton is still going to leave shit on my computer to slow it the fuck down until i install it again. god damn pricks.
