Playstation Eye

I was thinking of buying the Playstation Eye for the PS3. I read that you can use it to record your gaming footage into an mpeg4 file and be able to upload it on your computer. I've been wanting to record Warhawk footage to use on youtube. Is the Playstation Eye any good? I just want to be sure before I purchase it. Thanks guys.

I have one, its pretty cool. I dont know about recording gaming footage, but I havent tried so it might be. You can take pictures, record video or sound, and make movies which is pretty cool. you just have to download eyecreate from the ps store, but its free. i use the recording thing to put myself drumming on youtube

see this is what i think will happen. ala my horror night playing uno on the xobox o so long ago. I actually miss that now and am somewhat tempted to hook it up on a weekend to see the crazies come out again.
