Glad you are not swimming in your living room TB.

Please don't take offense. But I always find it funny when I talk to friends from the Midwest or south east. They always ask if I'm afraid of earthquakes and say they would never live in cali.

Well aren't you affraid of blizzards, tornados and hurricanes living where you are?

Oops, I hope it didn't come across as rude. I was just talking to a friend about this. He is also not from cali and we always get that question from people back home or out east that we know. There are natural disasters everywhere.

Sorry I guess that was bad timing to mention that.

I hope all is ok in your home and town TB.

hey guys.

no no swiming in my house this time. we were high and dry but two serrrious days of wind sent lots of water back up rivers and tributarys that caused a lot of flooding.
the creek by my house did overflow and did surround the house making it impossible to take the cars out. I had to stay becase of work but fared really well. i am very north of the city and my only issue is usually power and travel blockages.

it does not matter where you live drew. locusts, volcano etc somhting is out to make trouble for most areas of the US.

had a baby fish in my dirveway amazing that no aligators decided to cruze the neigborhood. i know there out there just watching.

Well, thank luck I live in new york, dodging crooked cops, drug dealers, and murderers is much easier than dealing with a hurricane or an earthquake. I have always been terrified of living anywhere known for any sort of natural disasters.

Wasn't there a hurricane that came to New York recently? I think it just brought a ton of rain but I remember it on the news.

Oh, and you guys get bed bugs. My wife traveled there for work last year. We have to have bring all these special plastic bags to secure her clothes in.

Ny is one city that would really suck to have to evacuate.

Just saying you are not entirely free of disaster....

lol I stayed in a motel once that was sub standard, middle of the nite my legs were itching like crazy, jumped in the shower with a hairbrush and was scratching the living shit out of my legs with that damn brush, that was fuckin horrible, never stayed there again...

I don't think you could evacuate NY without about a months notice...

Our weather here is pretty tame. Snowfalls rarely excede four to ten inches. We maybe get one or two thunderstorms a
year.
