well it's been 5 years since the ps3 came out...so it's not surprising that work is under way...but don't expect it to hit stores until 2013 or 2014

yeah im ready for one, as long as it plays my ps3 games.

my first ps3 was backward compatable, but after ylod i bought a new one that wasnt, so i have to hook up my ps2 to play my old games..

Noodlez is right it takes a long time to develop a new system and they've been working on it for awhile even now. Im glad they stuck wih the ps3 for so long. Its not like we needed a new system anyway. If the ps4 comes out in 2014 that'd be fine with me.

Yeah, I'm thinking 2014, 2013 at earliest, heck you could of asked them this about a year after PS3 came out and they could have said yes and been truthful, I think it's a constant R&D thing for the next system.

I was loving my first gen ps3 for soooooo long the day it died and i had to get the new ps3 I was broken hearted. i still have my ps2 but the agrivation of unboxing moving stuff .... if i get tempted bad enough... maybe
