Skyrm or Darksouls

anyone thinking of playing either one. i have been reading aobut Draksouls on IGN they are hyping this up like it will eat all other games for ever. ????

I was exicted aobut skyrim till i started to read about Darksouls. Maybee i ll play both. not sure which one ill do first though.

saw an ign review of dark souls. its skyrim for me. unforgiving brutal sadistic. yeah nothing says fracture sprain better then those game descriptions. no thanks casual for me please.

If had to choose I think id go for skyrim for now and maybe later i'll get darksouls.
Demons souls was brutal and you felt like you were all alone in the world. As much as liked it I liked oblivion more.

I think my brother will pick up both, but Skyrim will definitely offer you hundreds of hours of play that won't demoralize you unlike Dark Souls. Neither game interests me the slightest.

@ Noodz Rage looks like another typical FPS. I am really trying to find something to justify the purchase, but there does not seem to be anything. This generation is too saturated with shooters for me.

Masochism is not what I look for in a game. I have enough pain at work I really need a balanced game I can level up fairly in. the previous oblivion and fallout games have worked perfectly for me.

but more on topic.. since i was traveling, i couldn't really be bothered with games, so i decided the other day to watch gameplay video's on youtube about skyrim.. and to my big surprise it looked like shit and the voice actors did an amazingly bad job.
it doesn't look any better than oblivion, so why the hype? everywhere i go on the internet it's skyrim here, skyrim there..
it's annoying..
what makes this game so special??

Nood. well its more of the same. i loved the obilivian game. loved / hated fallout ( becase of the ps3 crashing lagging fisting Bathesda gave us) i get these games. i get the way they want you to play how they challange you and how the conversation trees play out. i get the way this company challanges the players and can cruise through them.


if you buy. buy it on the xbox or pc stay away from the ps3 version.
