I like the idea of an electronic library. just not sure which E reader i will one day buy.

one that would be in a piar of sunglasses would be nice. my arms get tired holding the dev up. same for a book ha.

is the kindle worth it? i was thinking about getting one next time i get some cash cuz i read a fair amount too.

also, is it possible to juts rent books through he kindle? if a book is good, i can get through it really fast and rarely ever re-read a book, so i'd rather not have to buy each book i wan.

In new york you can borrow books from the new york public library on your e readers...not on a kindle though amazon doesn't allow it...I'd buy a e reader but a lot of books i like arent available in as ebooks...bleh

Amazon needs to get over its ass if public libraries want to loan stuff to you. that is ass tarded restrictive. hmmmmmmmmm should i buy a kindle or a nook. or a .... pad thing. I would lean away from amazon becase of the restirctive namture but its supposed to be one of the better devices out there. dmann you ammmmmaaazooooonn losen up.

I thought about the B&N Nook but went to the Kindle instead. I guess its just an Amazon thing that I do buy alot of stuff there. I also read alot alot alot and reread all my books also, some stories are 7 books long and its nice to be able to store them on amazons site and download them when ever I need them, or if something happens to my kindle and I gotta get a new one, i still have my books on amazons server, also the battery charge on the kindle last a month with the wi-fi turned off, they also have a web browser built in, its still experimental right now tho and just came out with the new gen and of course its black and white and wont play movies but what the hey, its an e reader. I like the e-ink feature (its not an lcd) cause it looks like its a piece of paper in a book your reading....

that is all

Yeah, it's crazy, I'll have mine unplugged in standby and not in use for a few months and it still comes up, once I start doing stuff I have to plug it in, but most devices would be dead.

I have heard from people that have a Nook say they like it because it's in color.

I don't read a whole lot but if I would go for some sort of e reader it would be the iPad because it's not limited to just reading.

My family has 2 nooks and love them. My debate coach recently bought the nook color so he can jailbreak it and upload a custom android firmware which results in the nook being a 250 dollar tablet with great screen quality and decent sound quality.
