Noodlez rantz...on bioshock 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wellllllllllll.....sooo it only took me 2 days basically and i got 69% of the trophies...culdve been in the 70s but i made one very irreversible mistake...ill fix that when i go platinum this son bytch LOL...sooo....lets rant on this amazing yet...wayyyyy too familiar game shall we..noodlez is back with the 1st rant of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sooo numero 1no....right when you start the game its going to suffer from wayyyyy too much nostalgia..once again you are some silent shell of a person and its up to you to shape your character by deciding b/w killing little sisters or rescuing them...the main difference this time though...YOUR A BIG DADDY!!!!!!!...00o0o yeaaa if youve ever wanted to drill some splicers in the face while shocking them with your other hand well nows your chance cause now you can shoot and weild plasmids at the same time!!!!!!...but lets get back to this nostalgia moment...it sucks to say but the only way i can describe bioshock 2 is like...the pokemon yellow to the pokemon blue and red...its the SAME EXACT GAME....its just like your exploring the other half of rapture that you didnt see, the plasmids...honestly i only saw like one or 2 new ones that i could remember and your still not going to depend on them like you would on electro bolt and incinerate....that really sucks...the weapons...bsides the drill arm nothing new thats worth it...the spear gun is the same thing as the rivet gun..which sucks...u use a different shotgun and machine gun but they use the same exact ammuniton as the ones in the first game so its not really a difference and whats most dissapointing is...the story of the game plays out exactly like the first games story...now its not the same storyline but youll see what i mean as you progress through the game...now b4 i keep talking bad about the game..lets get to som positives shall we?

although the game plays out wayyyy too much like the first one...its still a great game (all pokemon games play excactly the same but we still love em right???) the story isnt as far out and philisophical as the 1st one but its still a great story and easier to get into...and the new areas of rapture are hella kool...(amusement park area is my favorite..youll see) but lets get to the highlight of the game...playing as a big daddy....now being a big daddy makes u unstoppable to splicers...well untill you deal with brute splicers and houdini splicers buttt when its time to fight big daddys to get yourself a little sister...well...you still have to plan that out cause big daddys are no pushovers though im happy to say that they arent as tough as before (and i beat the game on hard with no vita chambers) as long as you plan out your battle...basically the best way to fight them is to hypnotize all your enemies so they can jump the big daddy..then just move in for the kill with the drill like POW!!!!!!!!!
after killing a big daddy you get yourself a little sister..w00t w00t!!! now you either harvest her a$$ right there or use her to gather adam..remember the sequence in the 1st game where you had a little sister gather adam for you?? yea its jus that and when your done wit her you take her to a vent then rescue her or harvest her...once your done with every sister in an area...you will hear a louddddd shriek......ITS BIG SISTER TIME...now let me tell u somthing...big sisters are not as bad as you think...just make sure that in the 30 seconds of free time you have b4 she shows up you find yourself a room with a puddle of water...and make sure whenever shes dere...SHOCK HER!!!!!!!!...the big sister battles were overhyped its not really that serious its jus a way more tense big daddy fight since the big sister is very acrobatic and can use plasmids...butt killing a big sister is great cause each one gives you 40+ adam...sooo for example....lets say theres 3 little sisters in an area...and you harvest all 3..thats 160 adam each...and if u did that after making them gather 2wice..thats another 120 adam each plus 40 adam from the big sister...its jus crazy amounts of adam you can get in this game

anddd finallyyyyy....the main new addition to bioshock,....the multiplayer....holy crap this thing was really well done...it takes place durin the 10 years b/w the 1st and second game and its awesome!!! theres even a prologue you can play through which helps set things up really nice..basically theres the usual team deathmatch and death match types and then theres lik 4 variations of capture the flag and like one type of match thats just like headquarters from call of duty..they all play out nice and the ability to become a big daddy really helps turn the tide...also you can hack turrets and vending machines to use against the other team...its all really well done and comes together nicely with a nice progression system (its very similiar to call of duty which is a plus)

in conclusion...the game is good..the graphics...mehhh its basically the same thing but its still pretty because of its style...the atmosphere is still great..and the game is still hella creepy..but i really hope that if theres a 3rd game...it does NOT return to rapture...(even pokemon went to other areas) we know the history we know what happened and seriously we cant return to rapture (youll see why in the end) its a good game just get ready to feel like youve done it all before and if nething...the multiplayer is great!!!!! and its definitely an easy BUT time consuming platinum

I give it 3 and a half cups of ramen out of 5 =]

I am glad to hear the multiplayer did not dissapoint. one review i saw online said it was not that polished.

having said that the main draw in the game is the single for me. i am sort of glad to hear the big sisters are not that tough but my style of play gets me in trouble so i probably will play on easy so i can realax and drill out faces :)

i hope i will pick this up soon. as for the story being more of the same thats kind of a letdown but i wont let it stop me from getting this. IDK how imaginitive a FPS really needs to be. but i like that you get a little extra interaction with the little sisters. i agree even before i paly about the story though. maybe a game 10 years before raptures collapse where the plasmids were first getting out of control and not everyone was a killer say you see the game first hand going into that destroyed condition.

Nice rant noodlez. I was worried that it might be too similar too the first game it being in raputure again. Hope when they make a new one they build a new city. Maybe in a flying city or one in space!!

we had snow north of new Orleans but it was not cold enough to stick. sucked having to go outside and drive or walk in it. brrrrrrrrrrrrr
