i personally think most fps games have worst communities. on i can think of right now is CoD. there are a couple others but i cant'' think of the names

Warhawk doesnt have the "worst" community, COD has the worst community, the worst hacking, glitching, whatever.

I dont believe I have really seen much in warhawk other than the occasional gltcher under the map, but that is very rare. And if a server is lopsided, just leave and find another. Or better yet play the blues, unless you like to get raped in pr's. I dont think that getting in lopsided games is enough to make me quit warhawk.

Warhawk has a terrible community. I run into glitchers frequently in small maps. All forumers and just most people who play the game talk an amazing amount of trash. Don't get me wrong there are a few living cells of what warhawk once was left. NNN, Spud, AoD, DoD, *RA*, BWB (ish) -srry fish after what happened the ish needs to be there. Our community even resorts to cyber bullying as not a occasional thing, but as their forum life. I used to post 10-30x daily. Now I post 1-10x weekly. Times have changed.

I would never quit because of the community though. I have way to many earned points (152,000). I love this game and the air and ground part of it. Just a 10/10 no game can compare.

I haven't completely quit, just retiring from the official servers and clan competitions. I'll still jump in and play friendly games with people I know for the heck of it, but I just won't take the competition part of it seriously anymore. Right now me and my clan are enjoying MAG as the future of where we will be.

I have to disagree abut the WH community, now if you are only tallking the PSU WH community, then yes it is horrible. But elsewhere its quite entertaining. But not all that play WH hang on the PSU boards so I dont think it is fair to judge based off that.

And fyi kat, talking about the "-ish" some changes were made after that.

When i refer to the "WH community" I am always referring to PSU. People who don't frequent psu don't really seem like a community to me. I'm not judging everyone on PSU's actions. I'm just talking about PSU and GB communities. I have met a ton of friendly guys in game.

I will still pick up warhawk but yeah name calling goes way beyond our system i know people shit ball each ohter and really talk bizare sureal unreal trash almost all online group games. I guess it goes with the territory. I think it boils down to repsonability and ownership of your actions and words. if you can hide behind a mic and no one knows who you are adn you cahnge your ID all hte time there are no consequences for what you do. if you walk up to a person in the real world and do somthing people will know you and people will be able to avoid you becase you cant realisticly change you appearance in real life or pretend like you never made a nasty or stupid coment.

If you played MAG then your opinion is fine. I am a Modern Warfare fan myself, but it still can't achieve the 256 player intensity that MAG has. I was playing FPS games long before you picked up a controller Noodlez lol. I know a great FPS game when I see it, and MAG is definitely unique.

dude honestly...i hate it when you use your age against me...i understand youve been playing games before i was even a sperm cell...but understand this...you haven't played the amount of games ive played...ive beaten all the dooms most of wolfensteins, goldeneye, perfect dark, call of duty, metroid primes the list goes on and on and its never ending....trust me dude...my video game body count is miles ahead of yours....and i only say that because ive seen that your a dedicated gamer...you stick to one game that you like for a while...not me....im on a new game every other week and ive always been that way...so theres just no way that your gaming prowess is above mine and i respect the fact you like mag and all a lot of people do....heck i love the game cross edge with a passion and that game has gotten a lot of bad rep...and while i do admit that mag runs fine for a game that has 256 ppl online at the same time in 1 match...i just think it sucks because its really more based on squad on squad fighting xcept in like one mode i think ...and i dont like the whole fact that there really could be an 8 year old kid as my squad leader...and a group of 8 year olds as my platoon leader...thats not kool....plus the fact that mag requires extreme dedication since one day you could be in the game and your company is fine...then the next day everythings gone to hell..thats a crazy concept one that is very very bold on paper...but thats a little too much for me in terms of fps...i prefer call of duty's quick and frantic gameplay...mag might be insane because of its high numbers causing chaos but call of duty is jus insane cause its chaotic even if its jus a 3 on 3...case in point....HEADQUARTERS!!!!!!!!

I personally will be probably purchasing MAG and my brothers MW2. I will stop playing warhawk a good bit, but I can never set it down.

Alright guys. It's all a matter of personal opinion. I think DW sides my MAG becuase he feels it would be a really good clan game, and maybe because he doesn't like the way the COD series has went. I think I recall him saying he liked the first few. He may also not like the COD Community.
I think Noodlez feels familiar the COD series and he liked COD 4, so he is really looking forward to MW2. I think that maybe he would rather play a game he is really familiar with and already has a big group in that and 256 players doesn't impress him.

My personal opinion, I think MW2 looks fantastic, and MAG looks just as good if not better. I think 256 players will be amazing. I would love to get MW2 but due to restrictions in my house, it's not possible.

I'm not trying to insult you Noodlez, if so I apologize. I was just in a shitty mood yesterday. As for my throwing my age out at you, I do so because I have more experience in gaming lol. Sure maybe you've played more games than me, kudos there, but rushing through a game and moving onto the next one so quickly is "blah" to me. But that's just me. Doesn't make you the better gamer, and my years of gaming doesn't make me the better either. We're in two different categories. I'm in experience, you're in quantity. There's no competition. I love COD MW as well, I just feel MAG is unique and I am sticking by that, just as you stick by your opinion. As for the whole "9 year old being a Squad leader" situation, that has changed. Since the game is a Beta the developers are constantly updating it. There is now a vote/kick option in the game for anyone leading their Squad into disaster, but so far I've seen a lot of teamwork in the game, even from kids.

As for the MAG and COD MW2 debate, the fact that COD:MW2 is a multi platform game it will without question outsell MAG by a significant number. Also bare in mind that since the COD game is a sequel it has "proven itself" (to a degree) and therefore amassed a sizable fan base. So, as far as sales are concerned, MAG may well be "blown away" in terms of units sold. However, it is not correct in assuming that the gameplay and multiplayer aspects of COD:MW2 will blow MAG away. This is simply not possible. Unless InfinityWard did something crazy and managed to make their multiplayer servers capable of handling 256 players in a single game, COD cannot hope to top MAG. Plus, MAG has much more to offer than what I have even seen during my time playing the Beta so essentially what is great will only become greater. Also keep in mind that COD and MAG are two FPS games that are trying to accomplish two very different things. Epic battles and a huge emphasis on teamwork are the foundation for MAG where as fast paced gun play and customization via Perks are the primary aspect of the multiplayer mode for COD. Both games are fun in their own right and while COD may have a graphical edge on MAG I really think that it will be a while before something comes along that actually "blows away" the enormous multiplayer battles MAG provides.

dude 4get the sales...cuz honestly you and i both know how hyped up mw2 is....we cant let the sales speak...and ur right...mag is going to be destroyed..as a matter of fact every game coming out this holiday season has already lost to mw2 jus by mw2's presale numbers...forget that...the games gonna sell and mag is going to sell a respectable number regardless bcuz socom fans are going to rush and buy zipper interactives latest and greatest....so screw da sales...ok so...i agree with u...both games are entirely different..lik u said...one is a 256 player behemoth...while the other probably wont go higher than...9 on 9...true...but...u cant really say it wont be just as hectic when u think about all da insanity run and gun gameplay that call of duty is known for, what mag is trying to do is something thats unheard of 256 players...and the world ur in is constantly changing and companies are all doing this crazy insane stuff and all that...yea...thats a very ambitious title i jus prefer the finer things in life such as mw2 which is basically give us an incredible action packed soryline single player plus a hectic online frag fest

also final thought....remember...socom confroncraption (confrontation) is a game that was a lot more ambitious than call of duty...it had a crazy awesome idea for clan systems and tournaments implemented into a game and all that good stuff....and look how that turned out...sometimes the most amazing ideas just dont end up working out...i hav to say out of the past big shooters that have come out the one that impressed me the most with trying to do something with online multiplayer was most definitely killzone 2

@ Noodz, I played in both the Socom confrontation BETA and the MAG BETA. Big difference. You could tell that Confrontation just wasn't that good. It was a let down from the start for me. When I played MAG it is totally different I really liked how the game works. I like the handle of the guns and especially liked the sniper having a minor role in MAG. I enjoy all the different modes and team objectives. I really would be happy paying 60 for the beta. That is not something I could say for the Confrontation BETA. I think zipper has learned from their mistakes with Confrontation and I think mag will be a much better product.

MW2 is bad ass looking and I got addicted to CoD4 for like a month. Not trying to argue just stating how i think MAG will turn out.
