@Hippo: Yeah PS3>Wii. I agree. The Wii still is alot of fun and IMO, the Wii is the 2nd best system.
The PS3 is 1st because it's graphics are 2nd to none, the online is awesome AND FREE, not $50 a year to have a bunch of screaming, whining punks yell at you (XBOX 360), the games are awesome and it's a media center really.
The Wii has on par graphics (hope to get componet cables for it soon), Mii's, really fun games, it helps you lose weight :) and it's got a really cool interface and it has weather, news, and you can buy old NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, TurboGrafix, and Commodore 64 or w/e games.

Well your first mistake was not getting Mario Galaxy with Wii instead of BWii. Beyond that though there are some good choices as to what to get.

TB RE: Umbrella Chronicles is still the best on-rails game on the Wii to me. And I've found an interesting alternative to Animal Crossing.... review for that in the coming weeks.

Which would you recomend first? SMG or Brawl?

I only had $20 to spend and I like those kinds of games. Maybe sometime I'll pick up a Gamecube controller and a memory card and get Battalion Wars 1.

As far as SMG or Brawl it depends on what you want. If you want a Mario game get SMG. If you want a fighter get brawl (particularly if you have people to play against).
