Pocket had already told you many times that he doesn't need a clan invite. He's just a friend of the clan who's hanging out with us lol

BTW change of plan guys. This game is canceled completely, it is scratched. I wasn't getting good feedback about it. So no mystery game for now.

However, I will still open up my server tomorrow night Wednesday 12/17/08 for free for all fun. I am sure some Spuds will be there. My dad and his clan are going to. It will be at 8pm central if anyone wants to come in and just duke it out for the heck of it. It won't be password protected. It will be at 8pm Central Time.

Oh and Pocket, too bad we don't fight in the same clan. We'd really tear other clans up. There's even a thread about you in the Warhawk talk section lol

yeah in fact it was my Dad who showed me Warhawk WHO lol. I still had a PS2 until he showed me Warhawk, so it made me upgrade to the PS3. His name is omt50 and he has his own small clan of real life friends. They were in last Wednesday's practice with us, their clan tag is Pu2o LOL

lol actually it's my Dad's fault that I became a gamer. Back when I was a kid in the late 1980s my Dad got all excited about the original Nintendo Entertainment System. The day he brought that console home changed me forever. I was hooked to that thing. I remember me and my Dad being up super late on school nights playing the original Super Mario Bros and the original Zelda. That was fun times. So yeah I picked up my gamer habit from my father lol

expect to die a lot at first using pro flight vegito, that happened to me. So don't get discouraged when it happens. If you go to the announcements section inside of this Warhawk practice area, I provide a video that teaches you how to dodge all missiles in pro flight. The more I watched that video along with practicing, I can now dodge about 95% of missiles shot at me. Only really well aimed machine guns, lightning guns, and airmines seem to get me now. With pro flight you'll be quite deadly at dog fighting :D

Oh I do expect to die a lot first but I won't get discouraged when it happens. I'm determined to go pro flight cuz I see other pilots in pro flight and I have hard times killing them and it make me mad lol.

Yeah I too am a pro flight pilot. After dieing a lot when I first started using it I have become a dangerous pilot in my own right. It just takes practice. Although don't count normal flight pilots out either. Masters of normal flight can be dangerous too. It just depends on the person. But yeah go for pro flight if you're more comfortable with it. Pro flight feels much better for me because I like how the camera stays on the Warhawk. Just make sure to check out the video I provide in Announcements in this area of the forum. It's very useful to learn how to dodge missiles with pro flight. It's how I dodge what Pocket Sand throws at me :yeh:

DW when you first saw me, did I do an ok job at dodging ur missiles? Is pro flight better for attacking? I see the way you and Pocket Sand fly and it make me want to be better in a warhawk. In our practice I get shot down more often by you, Pocket Sand, and gabrielle. I remember i shot you down once using a rocket launcher. Maybe I need to work on my attacks.

I'm a better pilot when we play a team match then a death match. I just want to be better in a warhawk since the game is called WARHAWK lol. I want to try pro flight to see which suit me better. Any pointers for attack techniques in a warhawk anyone?

yah i wanna be a better pilot too. accept for rookie servers i can't really beat anyone unless i catch them off guard. that's why i'm a ground pounder. i can at least hold my own in a turret or with a rifle, but i still can't take on tanks and vehicles. i'm also trying to be a better sniper. i can shoot people while they are staying still but if they move at all my shot is off

:( :( :(

I been flying since i got back from a break from warhawk a month ago. Normally I stay on the ground but I have this urge to fly now. I'm a pretty good sniper. I can snipe while they r moving. It's all about timing and luck and practice.

Well here's some tips if you're going to be a pro flight pilot Vegito. First I recommend using the flight simulator that Warhawk provides you offline. It's very handy in getting practice on dodging missiles. Also make sure to watch this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VX1gDnqJBGM

It's very useful to learn how to dodge missiles. After watching this video I practiced a lot. Took me awhile and now I got it down 100%. Dodging missiles is easy. But if someone is right up against your warhawk and fires off a homing missile you're toast. That's how pocket sand gets me sometimes, because he obviously knows I am vulnerable up close. Also study this tutorial:

http://boardsus.playstation.com/playsta ... ing&page=1

It's a lot to read, but very useful information. As for my personal tips I like to try and predict where a pilot is going. For example, if I am chasing a guy in a straight line I'll hold my homing missile lock on him without firing to scare him. Usually the pilot will panic and not know where to go because they have a lock on them but I haven't fired yet. Then when I see the pilot start to make a turn I boost in ahead of their turn and release the homing missile right up in front of them and blast them out of the sky. It's all about timing and predicting your enemy's movements. It's best to fire the homing missile as close to the other pilot as possible. The farther away you are the better they will be able to dodge it. Also if someone is chasing you use the elements around you to your advantage, like flying through landscapes and terrain to shake them. I also like to sometimes boost straight upward into the sun to blind the enemy pilot behind me as I make a sharp turn to shoot them back while they're blinded. Also another tip is to have fun, and also create some of your own personal moves. That's how I battle in the skies. I hope this info is helpful :yeh:
