this sounds weird but i don't want any of my existing friends on here, i like it because i have none of my usual peeps on here, it's like a whole different friend set, whole different set of rules, and i'd feel like i'd be judged differently based on how i am on other friend groups. I'd love more members for sure! but honestly i wouldn't get my normal friends on here.

cool its nice to be somewhere you can be a fresh version of yourself. i like your thoughts man thanks for sharing.

Yeah i am sort of bummed about the traffic overall too. i love this place but its kind of ghost townish the past couple of months. I know its the way of things to move on but this is so cool and s*&% rivals any site i can think of. i gave the link to a long lost bud but i don think he checked us out. :-(

Imported some for internet purposes ;).

And TB, like i said recruiting friends might not work. We had a peak of site activity at the same time as we had a peak of CLAN activity. i'm not saying start up a warhawk clan again, i don't think we're all in to that anymore and i don't even know if warhawk has that much of a dedicated fan base anymore. But if we start up activity on more fronts again there is a complete possibly we can reinvigorate the site. I also believe we need to format the sections on the site, make them simpler and get rid of the dedicated sections that see little traffic. If we start up several clans piggy backing off the same site and they cross pollinate, soon enough we'll have over 50 dedicated members. Just depends on what games we look at, like i said i have a tf2 clan in the making that needs a home. That's a start. You guys have any clans that need a warm moist place to park their forums?

Thanks to fish's amazing internet superpowers, the site looks orgasmatastic already, we have stable forums. And even IRC. We have all the infrastructure ready, but we just need to DO SOMETHING to get more members in here in the first place. If we have a universal forum for the clans with one log in, chances are they'll move to the forums we use more often anyway.

just my .02 lol.

Honestly, Tek is right. I have contacted about twenty really chill guys in the past week to this site. I don't think one has even checked it out as a guest. The fact that I cannot say we are active just kills people off.

We need to eliminate all the unused forums like Tek said and just draw together on a game. To show we have activity.

There is a direct correlation between clan activity and forum activity.

I'm willing to help in any way I can. It is the summer. This would be the best time to rebuild this task force and get us running like a well oiled beast machine.

Nice posts and thoughts and suggestions TT and Kat.

I always thought that this could be more of a all games / media / entertainment type of place.

If the Forumns are dead then yeah they need to be locked and considered for deletion i agree.

yeah we did peek at the peek of the warhawk craze. our arc seemed to conincide with that game. I dont really play that much online neve did before warhawk. I just got hooked on that game.

I dont have the solutions but yeah if people want to populate and organize and make this a home for other clans or make this a home for bloging or posting about life or work or whatever i would love to see the site grow and evlove to fit that niche.

I love posting here even though its only to a few people out there around the country and world. this site just began to feel like home the good and bad parts of it all , of home and cyber home that is.

if the site dies i would be bummed but things happen sometimes that we dont want or cnat control either way i go on until i die and so do you.

it takes time to post and read. after a full day of work i almost dont have the energy. and i can sympathize with others that might see the lack of activity and want to be somewhere someone responds to them faster. cant help that.

any ways muchos praise as always to the fishy man for this place to hang.

EDIT
still think bullitin boards or forums are much cooler then face book and my space.

Nobody said anything about wanting to be somewhere where people respond quicker TB. I do not think any of us would truly leave just because another site is more active.

I'll be brainstorming...
But I think the first step is to weed out the inactive forums.

ha. hang on guys. no one has to go out and farm users. dont take it like i am begging for traffic. i just feel that when you see quicker responses people feel like that they are active in a conversation. i remember checking back after a day to see if people had responded to crys for help on ign and thought nothing of it but thats me.

Vash i am guilty of not going much place besides here so dont hate me to much.

Kat TT dont ho your self for the TB it aint worth it. even though i could use a pair of fish tank platform shoes.

If a person submits a good article it'll be posted, but sometimes that's a bit tough I have decently high standards.

I think forums are better in a time delay setting like they are, it's more of a piece of mind rather than a fragment. if we want that instantaneous thing than we have an IRC on the front page.

Takes "New User" seeds out of freshly plowed lawn. Also i'm sorry too Vash. I mean to stop by your place more than I do. I might even try to submit an article or two. I have no clue how to attract members, my approach is basically like the, hey child... heres some candy.. quick hop in the van. I think what we need is just a game where we are comfortable enough to meet once a week have a laugh, host a server for a few hours and farm some players there. Then once we get more and more we bring em here in one big bunch. So activity booms. If we bring them here one at a time they might get bored and be here a week then forget about this place.

There's a few problems with the game thing.

1 Getting together once a week may be tough on some of us especially if it's the same time every week. Even though it's summer sometimes my days are a bit crazy. For me, I'm in a clan that plays PC games as well. Also I have a ton of games to get through some to review some just because.

2 Warhawk would be the only choice and that community is getting smaller, most of the people we'd find are probably new or already have a clan/ site. Not saying all, just saying I would think chances are high, though I haven't been on in a while.

3 Many PS3 games have a mediocre following at best, there are very few giant games (at least from what I can tell from the IGN PS3 GB) PS3 owners seem much more spread out than those on 360 playing Halo and COD.

Games that have a great ps3 following we could most likely all get in on.

Killzone 2.(check for me)
Uncharted 2.(check for me)
Bad company 2.(not yet owned)
modern warfare 2 ( wouldn't touch it's online with a large rubber novelty stick)
MAG.
Bf1943 could be possibility.

But i think it'll be easier to pick up pc clans. There are tons of small clans on steam networks that don't have a website (i'm in like 3). I'd love to play tf2 with all you guys. I'd strongly suggest purchasing it if you don't have it.

Kat thats funny i have to remember not to eat any candy you offer

Vash nice summation. yeah IDK about any really active ps3 clans. i think TT might be on to somthiing with TF2 but i have pc issues right now and really am more able to game on set tops.

still up for poker after RDR got me going again.

i am actually practicing chords and scales and trying to fix a buddys pc at present.

I was actually thinking about this for a couple weeks. Thought I'd be called a moron if I introduced the idea. I am up for it. I am even up for going on steam, my brother does it and i'd love to move to pc gaming.

I even have an idea for my steam account name.
So I think this is a brilliant idea.
