Offical sony Servers Mostly empty

this is sad this must be the end of the comunity in some ways. i just wnated to get on a Sony hosted DM the other night and the only thing going on were two CTF games with increadbly bitchy people I still cant figure out how some teams fuctioned as a homogonious unit and pwnd spud so much. se la vie we loved you warhawk.

well at least the ranked sony servers look that way. there are still quite a few unranked hosts but no one using the sony servers

This has been the case for MONTHS. Warhawk is not dying. Most dedicated players and clans of warhawk set up their own ranked clan servers or just their own servers. These servers are much more populated and liked than the official servers, because glitchers and team-killers can be kicked also because they run most of the time more maps that people enjoy. There is only about 10 sony servers filled at a time. ZNS-Lg1, CTF-Lg1, FCTF-LG1, CTF-Med1, COL-LG1, MIX-Lg1, AU-MIX-Lg1, DE-MIX-Lg1. There are a few others. Got the names a bit off, but those are typically the busy and packed servers. Occasionally a TDM or DM fills up.

PR servers have about 20-30x the filled servers. A lot of players are also missing this week due to CoD6. In a week or two things will be back to normal.

EDIT: Almost never is there a official DM full. There are normally 10 or so Player Ranked death matches running. The hosts all seem to be pretty legit.

thanks for the input kat. i might look at the ranked hosted DMs. those are so nice for blowing off steam and just goofing around for me.

if that is the case and the ranked and personally hosted ones kick glitchers then right on i might be more excited about them.

Also not sure if I mentioned in my paragraph, but a few hosts who are idle most hours of the day occasionally have problems with glitchers.

This year has been ok with me. Nobody in spud really plays warhawk, but that is ok with me :) I just love coming to these forums and seeing you guys chat, it is the group that matters :)

Yeah our warhawk caln seems to have finaly run its course. this site is still a nice place to touch base with people you have gotten to know.

elite players killed their own game. Creating alts to go rape new players on the rookie servers. High ranking players purposely stacking on one team to get the easy win on the non-rookie official servers. They did this to themselves.

yeah that makes sense to me. if you are that good you should not have to compete against noobs to have a good fight.

if the tables would have ever been balanced and like ranked groups would have been playing each other it would have been nicer.

I'm retired as of this weekend. For three weeks warhawk has been collecting dust on my shelf.
Maybe I will have a spur to get back in, but I feel like I'm finished. I've neglected to many games to long. I spend most my time in the BF:BC2 beta now. I want to play some U2. I am also into MAG (My beta isn't working for some reason) and just some other games.

Won't get that silver which is 24k away it seems.

hey anytime anywhere Kat. I did not misunderstand. there is so much out there to try i know its hard to get excited about warhawk any more. i lost some of my taste for it too.
i still love it but all the organization justa pain. i dont mind logging in and playing for a bit but sometimes i dont know when i have time.
