Yes its really sweet in that regard i am ignoring the main quest and doing allot of walking.
the theme radio active waste land is really immersive. i could play it for days at a time if i did not have to work. seriously i could forget to eat and exercise this is video crack at its best.

if you compete the main story you'll lose your character

ohhh man if that happens i will be so mad. Oblivian you could complete it and just run on off and do other side quests.

BTW iam going good Karma as the evil choices dont seem evil to me but just superfical evil.

thanks to hip i wont complete the final main quest with out saving a side door save so i can go back in and play with my powered up guy. Nothing like roaming the wilds free and confident

wasn't duck and cover meant to get you closer to the ground, which is where radiation travels after the bomb goes off? I don't know, just what I heard...

it was bad science. you could duck and cover all you like radiation will still find you. bad surviavl info pased out from the gov. as for what it was supposed to help you survie and how i am not sure.

I just love how this game is based of off the 50's version of science, not the realistic one.

It reminds me so much of " A boy and his Dog" the whole vault thing is like the people living on the farm in "A boy and his dog"

I made friends with a Mutie yesterday and unwittingly competed a segment of the main quest and got kidnaped and then proceded to talk the president ( of the Enclave) to comit suicide :-0 nice all the while maintaining good Karma. woot.

yes in the game hip i had an option and i chose the " good " karma path of convinciong the pres to comit suicide.

i have a Mutie lap dog that just creames all the wastleand folk so brutally i need to leave him home to collect on fingers
