All FPS gmes are soo boring except

yes even CoD 4, Haze and the new BioShock there is nothing new in single player and multiplayer most of the FPS are just lame and waste of money but the new BattleField Bad Company looks really interseting and promosing same as Mirror's Edge.

what are your thoughts? please share with me and everyone.

Im already burnt out on cod4,( think its the online idiots that did it), yeah it gets lame imo....but i still buy them.

It's a matter of opinion. If WWII combat is your thing, fine. If modern warfare is your thing, great. If you like futuristic stuff, whatever. I personally go for the modern warfare and things like Half Life 2, and think that stuff like Call of Duty (other than 4) is boring, as is Halo in my opinion. Plenty of people love Halo, like I love Kalamata Olives (which I LOVE), but I don't. Some people don't like the modern warfare thing like COD4, but I like it. The concept of Haze bores me, but plenty of people said it was going to be amazing. It's all opinion, and you are free to have yours.

I really think i just get tired of the fps look and feel, they are all the same.
Thats why i play warhawk so much. I also played the hell out of Mercenaries, cause i prefer tps games.
i think you should have the option to play fps or tps on any game. Why not, you have the choice on video formats, widescren or fullscreen.

I know this is going to cause a stir but when i want some good mindless funi chuck Resistance back in and play either the train station or the town that you go down hill and the aliens are in the blown up bulidings. the one with the gaint walkers is pretty hectic too

yes games like Warhawk are nice, i do prefer TPS it looks more realistic for me.

now some of you guys did play Star Wars BattleFront 1 and 2 on Ps2 or Xbox that was 1 of the best TPS on old gen

Hmm see now thats why I have a 360, its the system that has fun fps games. If anyone has heard of shadowrun, its a really enjoyable online fps because no other game is like it. Also for single player I like the new turok. I am getting more into tps and I have this craving for a rpg/hack n slash game now and then. I will play R:FoM or Heavenly Sword once in a while.

i did see some good videos in youtube about shadow run and i loved it too bad i dont own 360 thou i have enough money to buy it but i donrt want to its not that i hate 360 its just i cant have to consoles i like playing only 1 and no am not a sony fan i playes fair and square by fleeping a coin and ps3 won so that why i have it.

Ya I only have two consoles because my parents are divorced and I wanted a different one for each house, I think that shadowrun could have been so much more though, the online is great but there is no single player. They could have made a really cool fps rpg out of it because they put so much depth into the backstory.

TS, is heavenly sword worth the money or is it just more slash em up stuff

Uh I would relate it to god of war, its a good game and I enjoyed it but there isn't much customization or upgrading. I enjoyed how the gameplay was done but you don't get any new weapons or skills, the sword fighting itself does have a bit more depth than god of war as there is three modes that are very easy to use within one combo. You have you light but fast, strong but slower and ranged (using the sword on a chain, identical to god of war). You also take control of an archer type character who, once you get the hang of, you enjoy fairly much. When you shoot an arrow you can slow down time and use the six axis to control it which is hard at first but becomes very fun. Think of it as a God of War without the magic or bonus weapons but a slightly funner combat system. I enjoyed it a lot but you can just get through it with button mashing. I didn't as, when you know what mode to switch too, you start to get good. I would say yes its worth the money but it is kind of short. I beat it in like 5 or 6 hours. The game also tries to put you up against a large amout of foes which can be very fun. Depending on how you play it, it can be a simple button mashing hack n slash or it can be much more. I say its worth it but thats just me.

Hey fish download the hevenly sword demo. I have not purchased it myself but at least you get a taste of the game. and if you are looking for cheap hack n slash Conan is going for 20 to 30 bucks is not a bad deal. the final boss is a cheating jerk and is no fun compared to the rest of the gam.e

I like the idea of comic book vs MK but i would have selected other characters. i am srue rights and ohter things would make this much more complex if they came from different companies but DC is not my favortie list of characters.
