Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Any of you guys pick this game up on your PS3? I got it and this game is deep, and the graphics are very nice. The world is wide open for exploration and has over 150+ hours of content on it. You can even design what your character is going to look like. You can either be good or bad in the game. Each time you play through it it's a different story. I haven't played a game with this much depth in a long time. I highly recommend it. I've been playing it on my PS3 when I'm not playing Warhawk. If you do ever get the game, make sure to get the "Game of the Year edition". It has two expansions with it that provides even more content. Definitely worth the purchase.

DBKOK / Elk will be a good source of info for you on this subject. I went through it on my 360 as a Orc / fighter / armorer. not bad traits if you can also develop your night eyes magic. beware the damn vampires.

Yeah the game reminds me of Lord of the Rings. The music also sounds so great in this game. It's cool riding through the massive countryside on horseback watching the sun set or the moon rise. This game is beautiful. The developers definitely put a lot of work into this game. If you're into adventure games where you can pretty much do anything, I'd say get this one.

And I'll watch for those vampires twisted lol

the people that made Oblivion (Bethesda) are also making fallout which is kind of similar but with guns and in the future.

I thought Oblivion was pretty fun to play but that Fallout looks something else.

only if i still have the game, but unfortunately i traded this game in long time ago. the elder scroll 4: oblivion game of the year is the best rpg/free rooming game out yet until fallout 3 cames out.

oblivion is not worth playing for 2 or 3 hours its worth 10+ hours thats what i used to do.

lol not yet, I just started playing. I get far into the game only to have it turn around and I got more stuff to do. The game is like a living world. I can't get over how much there is to do in the game.

Yeah WHO, the game has loads of content. It's a perfect adventure game for those who want to get lost into a good game.

And yeah gem, I used to be addicted to World of Warcraft lol. I was a lvl 70 paladin, I was the leader of my own massive guild and everything. I eventually stopped playing because the end game was just a constant grind. I log into a game to have fun, not do the same chores everyday. It got boring.

Hey
ARe

The game is aweoms. but it will eat you alive. It will make you not go outside or vist with friends and family. I wound up playing this I dont know how long.

One word of advice on the 360 most ad ons / map packs cost a few bucks the PS3 version as i understand it has all of the add ons bundled in. the Cautionary word is horse armor. dont buy it if you can help it.

you get a free horse for completeing the Assasins Guild missions. That was probably one of my favorite side quests and also probably one of the hardest at the very end with out the ign guide. its has a very minute detail at the end most players might miss . i missed it but using the guide i figured out what i needed to do to open the converstation tree i wanted.

PS dont ever ever pick poket or kill a guildmember. for the love of god dont squat and forget becase they dont forgive.

Falll out 3 has me Uber excited since it is a futuristic Oblivian. DBKOK is bummed becase he palyed the older Fallout games. I can undertstand that but if you think of it as the new Oblivian and not a fallout game it might help.

Somthing cool about this game is that once the main quest is done you can continue on and do side quests until infinity. prettty cool you dont have to start over to do side quests.

enjoy Oblivian all.

haha i remember when i first played i made that mistake for the fighters guild and the dark brotherhood cuz i found out that guild members have some cool items but after i restarted the game i found a cheap way to up my sneak to 100 and after i did everything to join the guilds in the new game i was able to steal without many problems. also i learned to save just before i was about to steal anything, that helped a lot.

Gem I hope you got the Game of the Year edition for Oblivion. That comes with the two expansions for the game that adds more content to the game. I played several hours of Oblivion last night. It's amazing how deep the game is. I am going to secretly meet the thieves guild at midnight in some city garden, Exciting! lol
