i can tell you very easily that game trophies never meant much to me. all the time you spend in games and all the things you can acumulate and open up. having your saves taken away from you. it s really cruel.

I would take saves. trophies are for other people to look at, they don't do squat for me.

We'll if you sink your trophies before your ps3 dies you can't lose them.
But if HAD to choose it'd be trophies. I know i know its sad but hey I have over 2000 now and thats alot of wasted time and effort so I want remember how I wasted it all by having shiny reminders.
I can alway start any game over if I want.

Game saves, i dont really care about trophys, not sure i even got any and wouldnt know what they were if i did. so yeah, saves

it did make me load up warhak the ohter night and even though i did not wind up joining the game i kind of feel the old fire.

I would go for trophies. I don't play for trophies, but it is kind of cool when one pops up. I rent/borrow the games that I play. So I delete the save file if I know I'm not going to play it for a while or if ever again.

Ha I hear ya. My issue is all the game lockout features like levels or weapons or character levels or cars you unlock. All that time spent earning it is now gone

Yeah I have a lot done for Burnout Paradise. Then they released a patch for trophies. Almost 60 hours I would have had to repeat just for trophies.

that sucks ok i get that. at least with burnout i could * ashamed for buying in for a cup of the old kool aide* buy the cars instead of win them with my time. i still get to do the races and its like i win a car but i already have it.

Burnout paradise was the one game save I lost some how. I was about 3/4 through. This was before the trophies. I was too pissed to play that game anymore. Plus I didn't like driving around looking for races... Yeah I'm old school

ouch yeah it can hurt when you see all your time and effort washed away. I like the free range senes of the ride around the town. looking for cars is fun for me so i really am digging this again. i did buy the all cars pack to unlock them all but i am still doing the races you need to do to win them. its fun in a objective sort of way.
