POST battles for 1/27/09 & 1/28/09

Postby DWOMT » Sat Jan 24, 2009 9:37 am

I had to place these two practices together because of GB battles in the upcoming week. The practices should do us some good. Here's what's planned:

Tuesday 1/27/09
8:30pm Central
Ground Pounders vs Pilots night
Description: Several rounds to test skills against each other. Set up will be like this:

Round 1- Ground battle only. Pilots and Ground pounders fight all out on the ground only.
Round 2- Air battle only. Ground Pounders meet the pilots on their turf now.
Round 3- Ground Pounders take to the air using Warhawks only! Pilots have to defend from the ground to survive!
Round 4- Ground battle only. Ground Pounders can only use tanks and jeeps only, Pilots can't use these vehicles and have to find ways to defend.
Round 5- Ground battle only. Roles are reversed, Pilots in tanks and jeeps, ground pounders cannot use these vehicles.
Round 6- To help with target practice, both teams can only use the drop ships provided to their teams. So yes guys, dropship battles! And only one Warhawk can be used per team as an escort.
Round 7- If anyone wants to do this one. All out war using everything for both teams.

**Booster Pack for the drop ships is required if you want to be in the dropship battle**

Roster:

8 Pilots-
DWOMT
Vegito
Gabrile23
Moe__Dog

8 Ground Pounders-
Twistedblister
Hippo
Noodlez
Oakshan29
fish

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Wednesday 1/28/09
8pm Central
Scrimmage battle night. Open server for Spud and non-Spud members
Several rounds of combat. CTF, TDM, DM in close corridors, one or two dogfights, Hero, and I could throw in some jet pack battles for anyone interested and anyone who has the booster pack.

Hope to see you guys there!

Thanks Moe, I put you on pilot side for now. By the way Moe, were you still wanting to do any game battles with us? We have some matches coming up next week, just sign up on our game battles section for certain matches if you're interested. I know for Thursday's match I need some pilots.

For all you maybes, if you guys can let me know for sure the day of the Tuesday Pilot vs ground pounder battle that'd be great, because it makes it easier to know what kind of game we'll have and who I can fit in.

My brother is coming over tonite and we are gonna try something new. Recently I have wired in my ps3 to my router and I am getting better pings. Tonite my bro is gonna bring his ps3 over along with an older tv he has and see if we can both play off the same broadband internet without alot of lag. If it works we might just have a new game battle pilot to add to our roster.

But back on topic, I / we should be there tonite.
