POST Practice Battles for 12/10/08 & 12/12/08

Postby DWOMT » Mon Dec 08, 2008 3:12 am

Ok guys it's that time again. I am announcing the two nights my server will be open for battle practice this upcoming week. So here's the dates and times:

Wednesday 12/10/08 8:00pm Central Time
Scrimmage battle night
This night will be all out warfare on several maps. Ground and air can be used. I will throw in CTF, Zones, TDM, DM, Hero, and collection if anyone wants it.

Friday 12/12/08 10:00pm Central
Dogfight night only
I made this match at 10pm that way it doesn't interfere with WHO's GB battle at 8pm. So this should work out.
Several maps consisting of deathmatch dogfights, team deathmatch dogfights, and a creative match that's FCTF where Warhawks can be used for CTF capturing. FCTF opens up some big dogfight possibilities, and gives ground pounders a chance to get creative with finding ways to stop incoming warhawks from landing to get the flag.

For these battles make sure to have your mics or at least be able to hear us for any special instructions. I can only host 16 people, so first come get in. Hope to see you guys there :yeh:

I'll be there, for the 10th maybe for the 12th. I was gonna say not the 12th because of the GB. crap. lol. It might be better to put it up BEFORE the GB so maybe we could get some practice. if not cool no biggie
btw this is my 333th post! :a:

Okay, CST 10 = EST 11 right? I looked at that board fish made. 11 is too late for me, unless my parents go out somewhere.

Sorry guys I didn't mean to make the friday one so late, but I had no choice. I don't get home till 6:30pm Central time that evening. I like to get home from work and have time for dinner and to go do my excercising when I get off work (I gotta stay in shape, I was a basketball player afterall lol). So by the time I am done that evening it gets too close to the 8pm Central GB WHO is throwing. So I had to push it to 10pm central. I usually don't throw practices that late, but I had to pick a time somehow :(

Have a fat free dinner friday and SHAMO! no need to exercise lol :D
But that late isn't a problem for me. Ny parents don't care how late I stay up on Fri or Sat or days i Have off and don't have school the next day. So if no one else can come me and you could just just jump into a game or somethin or w/e you feel like doing

Awesome, practices are back up. Honestly haven't played Warhawk that much since they've been down to tell you the truth. Instead I've been hitting up Little Big Planet, which is exceeding my expectations by far! Had no idea it would be this fun because it just didn't look like my thing from what I had seen. But anyway. I'll be there Friday for sure. Wednesday is almost a definite yes but we'll see.

Awesome! It couldn't be a dogfight without talented Kalm to make his appearance! lol. Man I've been curious about Little Big Planet, but it looks kinda too kiddie for me. Is the game that good?

O_o DWOMT are you one of those stupid gamers that go out and buy games based on rumors? (AKA most gamers) Check reviews then buy games, reviews by reliable sources like IGN or Gamespot or better yet, both. I learned my lesson long ago.

*Plays star fox assault, WTF the N64 version rocked but this sucks!*

Moral of the story:
LBP 9.5/10 by IGN Warhawk: 8.8/10
Go figure. I would buy LBP, but...
"Want to see my uber duber stage?"
"No."
":("

*Sells art, gets 1000000000000$*
drawing makes you look better, I draw already (since gr 9) so I don't need another avenue to flex by creativity. If you do anything already that requires large amount of creativity, just stick with that and don't get LBP.

I usually will 90% of the time do Tuesdays, but I have something to take care of tuesday evening, so it's one of those odd times where I couldn't do tuesday. No worries through Noodlez, next week it will be back to Tuesdays as usual.
