POST battles for 12/30/08 & 1/2/09 (Red team won!)

Aw man I missed practice this week. On a Dogfight night too dang it. Oh well. I'll be there for the 2nd most definitely. Also DW, how's Fallout? I've got one more Christmas gift coming and I have a choice of getting either :-

Fallout 3, PSN Card ($50), NBA 2K9 (I'm crazy for anything basketball, I even play lol), Fifa 2009 (More for my friends than me really, but football is awesome when you play with people), Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm (Not really into this title but I want a pickup and play fighting game for when people come over seeing as SC4 is fairly strategic).

So I wanna know if it has more draw than some of the other stuff since I've been leaning towards that or a PSN card (WH expansions and Street FIghter would be awesome especially since SF helps the pickup and play fighter bit). I know this question should really be in another forum or whatever but I figure it'd get a more prompt response here and I won't really make it a discussion anyway.

But back to WH, how'd the practice go? Dd you and Pocket have your way with the match while I was out? lol. What about you Noodlez? Take anyone down? lol. Oh I fully support recruiting Draconis btw. Made me pull out all the stops to get each and every kill lol. For a second I had my evil side come out and wanted to focus on him and only him for a whole match lol. Note to clan: Do not take me down more than 2 times in a row. I will be on your tail until I get you back lol. Luckily I did and I could go and massacre some other people lol.

As for Fallout, it's great! If you like non-linear games where you can explore and make your own choices, then it's the game for you. It's a lot of fun to explore post-nuclear war Washington DC. The graphics are beautiful, and the game is filled with content. This isn't a game you'll finish quickly. I'm hours into the game and I've only barely scratched the surface of it. So I highly recommend it if you're looking for a game with depth to keep you busy for a long while.

So you play basketball in real life? Me too, I used to play center back in high school. Me being 6'3 always made it easy for me to play ball lol. I still play when I can. I focus more on martial arts and jogging these days....oh and video games lol

I too want to get Street Fighter HD on the PS3, but I gotta wait till the wife says it's ok to charge to our credit card lol

As for the practice, it was fun! Me, Gab, Pocket, Vegito, all did well in the skies. Heck Hippo was flag crazy in FCTF lol. Yeah I have been talking to Draconis on my friend's list, I hope he will eventually join us. He's deadly in the skies, and adding more talent like him to our roster can truly make our clan even more dangerous. Slowly but surely all the right pieces are falling into place. But yeah I've seen how focused you can get on one person when they kill you too much lol

Kalm20, you missed a crazy dogfight night. And to those who left early you missed one heck of a pilot. His name was Final Victory and he owned me with the stealth and LG. It was all DW and I could do to take this guy down or at least keep him from killing us with that dang lightning. Thanks for hosting again DW, your server is always a great one with good competition and no lag. Gabe, you tore up the omega dawn map, you are definately top notch on any may but especially there. Hippo, holy crap you grabbed alot of flags, but at least I took your plane once and killed you. To all: I think I am going to start hosting some ranked games on non practice nights so stop by if you can. I will try to mix and match maps but I love flying so there wont be any ground only maps. Im thinking some TDM, DF TDM, CTF, and maybe an occasional DM.

yeah Kalm missed out lol. He sure could have been added help against that Final Victory guy. I talked to Final Victory by the way through email. He's actually a very cool guy. He added me to his friend's list. He complimented me and you Pocket, he said we gave him a work out. So that's a nice thing to say from a pilot who smacked us around lol. Maybe I can get him to show us some things to improve our skills even more.

So you want to host some practice nights? Cool! Just post when you do that way I can be there. The only day I can't play on the PS3 is Saturday. The wife makes me spend the whole day with her lol. But most other evenings I can play. So when you do host just name the time and day and I'll be there. I need to start practicing more. I've been feeling a bit rusty lately, been playing Fallout 3 on the PS3 too much lol

Well guys we still have 3 slots left open, so we still need at least one more player to balance out the teams.

FYI for tonight's battle guys.

Just remember it will be a passworded server. Password is battle.

I will start off the server with a 15 minute deathmatch warm up for fun. allowing everyone to talk. Once the 15 minute warm up is over, then the real fight begins. Red team will not be able to communicate with the blue team and vice versa. You can only talk to those on your team, this makes it feel more like a GB battle, and allows the two teams to use strategy without the other team hearing them. So have your mics ready for those who want to communicate in battle, or be able to at least hear your team mates.

Remember, after the warm up this will be 5 rounds, 20 minutes each. First team to win 3 rounds wins the match and will get bragging rights lol. If anyone can't make it please let me know.

This should be a good fight. The maps and modes will be random to make it feel more like a GB.
