ok i know there are scatered posts but i saw this on IGN and squealed like a pig with joy. go read diliverance and spare yourself the view of warren beatys buttocks

To sum up, Fallout 3 looks and feels exactly what you'd expect a hybrid of Fallout 2 and Oblivion to look and feel like

http://xbox360.ign.com/dor/objects/882301/fallout-3/videos/fallout3demo1_071408.html

4 videos of the developer doning some shooting nice nice stuff. the music is kind of creapy Public domain US patriotic music.

the mix of yankee doodle dandy and the Fat boy mini nuke very sureal and funny.

oops sorry cloud. i would have said so but whats graphic to me know is pretty extreme this just felt right ( for the game )

sorry

yeah TS if you played the last Oblivian elder scrolls game then you know exactly what to expect from this. which is a good thing. controls / view perspective type of quests open ended maps all good stuff. the stroy and art are all post apocolyptic instead of medevil but same type of game essentialy.

thats where i was hedging I am going out on a limb and guessing it will be a better experiance on the PS3 ( allthough not always so as last years madden 360 was ranked the best so thats why i have it on the 360) but i broke down and preordered it on the PS3. its the only extravagance i am allowing my self currently.

Hey DBKOK when i read in the review that if you spent 150 to 200 plus hours in Oblivian you will be happy with this game. that sumed it up for me.:-)

So how is this game? Is it worth it? I have Oblivion on my PS3 and loved it.

Oh and TB I've seen a Boy and His dog. Caught it on TV randomly once and I liked it. The underground society they encounter is weird, and the ending had me laughing my ass off lol

DW to the farm

Hey if you liekd oblivion you will feel right at home in Fallout 3. its awesome

I am enjoying the ranged sniping ( OBliv arrows equivallent ) but they do dammage where the arrows felt week.

vice versa the mele seems to be at a disadvantge in this game but thats just my opionion. if you are a invisible sneak maybe but i love the slow mo gun splatters :-)

is the world in Fallout 3 big TB? because in Oblivion the world is massive. I could get lost in it.

Ya one of my characters is amazing with melee but you gotta know what your doing. He specializes in melee, sneak and big guns. You get your sneak to full, strength to 9 and get the bobblehead, get the perk where you can sneak run and a few other things I forgot and you have an unstoppable character. He melees a super mutant in one hit, can sneak around all of them orjust flat out mow them down with his energy mini gun or flamer. Its always satisfying to sneak up behind a guy with your 2x4 or sledgehammer and watch the gore.

Awesome post TS. i did not realize it was possible. it just seemed to me that mele was at a disadvantage to ranged weponary. cool post thanks. I love my sniper riffle but hacking on roaches with a sword is somehow gratifying.
