i refuse to play a game where a 10 year old could be in command of 128 people and issue out commands for squads....screw that....besides whats the point of 256 players online if its only gonna b squads of 8 doing separate missions....nope...not sold yet...though it has potential

but its nevr gonna b 128 vs 128 completely...and out of 128 ppl in ur "army"...im pretty sure ATLEAST 115 of them are going to be running and gunning and not listening to squad leaders and all that crap...its retarded....but i haven't played the game yet...so ill just wait to see more of it cause who knows..it might work...but untill then from whats on paper..the game seems incredibly freaking stupid

I kinda agree with Noodlez, what's the point of advertising this as some huge epic battle with 256 players, when in reality it'll truly be an 8vs8 fight (from each team's perspective). That kinda sounds lame. At least in Warhawk we can have 16vs16 at the most.

All 256 players will be on the map. Also they are working on ways to get you to work on the objectives by giving you exp boosts and performance boosts when near your leader.

Edit: To be OIC you have to of won so many games as a Platoon leader, to be platoon leader you have to win so many games as squad leader, to be squad leader you have to reach a certain level. Therefore if you suck as a squad leader it'll take you forever to get to be platoon, there are some sort of leadership points you have to gain as well as the wins.

ok 1 players on a team not knowing what they are doing or what the goals are. sounds like warhawk. ha. so this does not bug me.

Will it actually be 128 V 128. I hope so. but IDK. i am sold on the idea. its FPs though not my fav as i really love the WH 3d iso perspective.

will some jerks ruin the experiance. yeah some spoiled POS will make at least one of your online games really suck. kind of happens with all games.

Over all i think this really has potential but I am just optamistic and hopeful. its one of the few games that has gotten my full attention.

just wait and see and dont preorder and rent it first or play the demo if one is available. that way you dont blow 60 somthing dollars on a dud. :_)

I'm thinking about actually not buying it and just buying BFBC2 with my low budget. A friend of mine has it so I will probably play it at his house a little. I'm just afraid of a total online game. Sure I watched a lot of it as I did warhawk before the purchase, but warhawk draws me so much. I don't want to get bored and get everyone outranking me with better guns and equipment. So when I come back I'm destroyed and a noob. We will see.

sorry too that its not warhawk that was the most fun most work most enjoyment i have ever gotten out of a game.

While the game I'd compare MAG to is BFBC2, they are still very different games. Can't wait for my copy to arrive.
