Ya, I was especially disapointed in the doom movie, it was a good movie but once you played the game you realize how they tried to take a new look on the storyline and came out with a piece of crap.

I hope this mythical Halo movie thats supposedly being worked on turns out good, if they can pull it off it will be amazing, otherwise it will destroy the franchise...and of course shut up the cult following it has spawned

Well they stopped production on the halo movie, Peter Jackson is debating on starting it up again in a few years.

Yes, sadly, mayhaps this MGS movie thats been talked about will do the series justice, I will still watch it anyways though, I loved MGS3
