Mega Man 9 Old School Glory.

Ok hard as nails. if you played mega man 1 or 2 you will know what to expect. if you have not played thoughs download the demo. that level is indicative of all other levels.
Brutal hard as nails action platformer. only the best will survive. I played 1/2 way into the water level and giggled while dying my first time on the spikes. ahhh the spikes.

they need a horse the band download for this game :-)

Does it still look like it's fresh off the NES? I miss the NES days. I was a kid and so hooked on that system in the late 1980s. Those were the good old days :D

check out this review. it was special made for the PS3 and xbox. apparently there never was a mm9 who knew.

it is 8 bit perfect.

Edit

after futher fully reading it was a 8 bit game and a direct ish port.
It is still cool but i thought it was an original game homage. still very cool hard as nails game play
I did not remeber this one. 1,2 ,3 yeah but then i stoped playing them

End Edit.,

i was having a hoot wiht the game.

BTW when we get home tonight I will try and jump on and see if a practice server is up.

from what i know. it was made for the current consoles, as in it was created in 2008. but they wanted old school. so they made it in 8-bit. so its not an old game, its a new-old game.

that's so cool! Glad to see that 8 bit games can still be made in the old style.

A lot of the 8 bit games were very hard. I remember being hardcore as a kid in the late 1980s playing my old NES games. Those games didn't talk down to you. You had to have skill to beat so many of those games. The games today are not as hard as the 8 bit games were lol
