It looks like a supposedly true life possesion story. I dont know it depends on your belief system and your religous disposition. I find this unbeliveable to begin wiht but hey if you see it let us know.

I saw like the first hour of it with a friend and it was just a horror film. Didn;t see enough of it to judge it.

OK my take here.

very entertaining and very scarry . yeah i jumped like a teenage girl once or twice. hey thats part of the fun.

ok i really did enjoy this. my issue is all pertaining to the role of christianity with in the movie. if you approach this as a dedicated western religous horror peice then you understand it and accept it as such its cool.

the fact that it is based on a real occourance trys to suggest and lagitamize the event and maybe recruit. that i dont dig.

Christinaity is only 2K years old give or take a few. if you drag in Heberw law maybe another couple of 100 or a 1k going back to mosses and the parahohs.

the Chinease mythology goes back 1K BC Western time.

I dont know about Vishnu but ( please excuse my sp sincerly here) Inda's gods match that at least. mans/ homo errctus foot print goes back 70 K BC plus on that continent.

so what is my point. that the christan god devil paradigm is very new. and its not the only one on the block. that is my problem with the movie its validation of chirstiany as the true religion.
the point here seems to be that this girl died to bring the attention of evil and devils to the world.

are these religous dieties only 2kyears old. man we got jipped in the cosmic snese. Ra is at least 2K older and he was a one decade wonder.

so what i am saying is its a good horror movie. in christian mythology but it did not drag me back into that in which i was raised.

overall yeah it was entertaining and tearjerking and amusement park style scares all very fun. but you need to frame this. so overall very entertaining horror.

yeah the effects / demons were very well done. very disturbing.

My wife cant watch that type of moive at all. she starts hearing creaks and house noises and freaks out. Does not freak me out as much but I just like being scared sometimes so thats why i like those movies.

That kinda happens to me, even with A Haunting...which isn't even that scary...
