ok i am a big huge major freaking sam rami fan but this film is just meh. watch it with your girlfriends who dont like to be too scared. my wife got up about 40 minutes in saying it was silly and left me to suffer through it alone. my advice is to have rami make more evil dead movies. they kick this things but.

rent it if your curious and like rami and light horror.

ha. right on pretty much same thing. the early fight between the old lady and the young lady had aspects of his evil dead type fight sequences though. that and the demons when they possed that guy had him floating like his evil dead. evil dead still outshines this.
