dude i saw the flick in the biggest imax theater......it was sooo epic...the character types and storyline weren't anywhere near original but the visuals were so great..james cameron truly is an amazing filmmaker

terminator, aliens titanic. he's definitely one of my favourite's. up there with spielberg, kubrick and tarantino!

Btw, did anyone else know they're re-releasing titanic in 3d?

I heard a lot of mixed things about this.

1 visually stunning and the 3d actually kind of worked.

2 that the story was a non factor. ( drawback )

3 that it was incredebly long ( dont guzzle 32 Oz of soda before the previews or you wll pop your bladder )

Movie was fucking horrible. That is why I did not create a thread. I saw it in 2D, never seen a movie in 3D and i assume if it isn't good in 2D it isn't good in 3D.

I was highly disappointed.

Unoriginal Story
Way to long
Love scenes and whole love line was truly uneeded
No character connections

In the time i watched gran torino i connected to the old man and thought he was great and didn't want him to die. In avatar all i felt was cool, their blowing up the mother tree.

The only pro was the nice special effects.

In other words... Don't watch.
