Spawn Camping

Ok as many of you guys know, we lost the battle to the clan Vengance last night. To me Spawn Camping seems to be a cheap strategy that a lot of elite clans are using to win a fight. These guys actually take the time to memorize every spawn point on the map just so they can TOW, shell, shoot, and cluster bomb the spawn points to the point that the opposing team can't even take two steps without dieing. To me that's not strategy, just a cheap way to win. Now I can see why a lot of clans are not wanting to play elite clans in GBs anymore, because this is the only strategy these guys use.

I noticed in last night's battle how in the third round we managed to take the spawn camping advantage away from the other team. Once we did that the other clan began to come apart and we started to control the skies and get many chances at grabbing the flag. It's almost like an elite clan doesn't have much to fight with once the spawn camping is taken away and they are scattered to be killed one by one.

So my question is, how do we defeat spawn camping? How do we overcome it?

I am honestly clueless right now on how to beat such a cheap tactic. I know a lot of other online games are setting rules to eliminate spawn camping, and it honestly makes the battles better and more intense.

me too. I mean seriously, who wastes their time just to memorize spawn points on the map? I'd rather fight a team one on one on equal terms. Now that's a real battle. Last night made me mad. This seems to happen with most elite clans. I remember last season we fought a clan that didn't use spawn camping, and we won the rounds and took the victory. It was awesome. The battles were close each round and it was a lot of fun. I wish all the Warhawk battles in GB were fought that way. Talent against talent, no spawn camping cheesyness.

btw dw if fish can't get the other team to cancel tonights game are we gonna play??? cuz i think that it was kinda assholeish that when we sent in a cancellation request that they didn't accept it. so one of the co-leader's mssged me and asked me what maps we want and if we aren't gonna play i'll just tell him to "f*ck off asshole" lol. but if we are playing what maps should we do???

I don't even know if I can play tonight. I may go hang out with friends, not sure yet. If I was to pick any maps I'd say Island Outpost, Eucadia, Badlands, and Spire Shut in.

Tonight will be a slaughter if we face these guys. They are #1 in GBs and most likely use the same spawn camping technique that the other elite clans are using to gain wins.

i've been looking around online for ways to stop it but the only thing i can find are ppl complaining about it.

they only way i can think of doing anything is by getting all the bases at the beginning of the game and keeping them. that way we can have more spawn places than they can watch

That's definitely a start WHO. I am big into military strategy, but spawn camping baffles me.

So other clans are complaining about it too?

not so much clans but just different ppl online that play mmo's like warhawk. this is happening on a lot of comp and console games

I think we all need to put our talents together then and figure out a way to defeat spawn camping. I think that's the core strategy these elite clans use. If we take that advantage away from then, then I bet we can start knocking some elite clans down causing an uproar.

Oh! That gives me an idea. We should form an intelligence agency within the RRB lol. Seriously. We should use agents with alts to go into elite clans, spy on them, get us all the info we can get, and even find out how to bring down the spawn camping methods, then bring that info back to our forum (which is now private to clan members only). We could use this information to our advantage. I personally want us to be the clan to cause chaos and bring down some elite clans.
