I saw this on bleep bloop---> http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1918514
Thought it was so awesome! Anamanaguchi is a band that hacked a Nintendo to make music. They use normal instruments along with the noises they get from the hacked NES to make a very diffent style but I really like it. Something new anyway.

they have all the vids here http://www.anamanaguchi.com/

not bad, in the chiptune world what they're doing isn't too out of the ordinary, but nice execution.

Yeah I heard theirs a few bands that do this kind of music not that i've ever heard any of it lol. Its makes me nostalgic listening to this music.
I don't know if younger gamers would like this if they never played on a NES.

lol, i'm fucking 14 and i just bought a see through gameboy, am currently in the process of giving it a backlight all for making
music that no longer seems relevant.

don't ever underestimate the allure of the chiptune. i view it as a form of completely pure music, no lyrics, no hookups on how it sounds it's all about the melody and the construction of the song.

The interfaces for most of these devices, force you to think of the melody in your head then map it out in numbers. it's a whole different way of approaching music.

I love old school games. Their's alot of younger players who love graphics just as much as gameplay.
Yeah the one guy said it was programming music which is pretty cool.

awesome tune gabe. i think some of the 8 bit games have lasting appeal some were horrendous but some were and are amazing.

I am not sure what brought me around to the chip tune world .
