That was one of the worst beat downs I have ever experienced in Warhawk lol. Those guys obviously had assigned roles, and they were communicating. The same two guys kept going after the flag while the same guys were in Warhawks..so yeah they were assigned to different tasks. They tore us to shreds lol

Yeah that was what i was expecting to see tomorrow night not from mxg they had roles and acted them out well. in any clan games we need to adopt such strategy if only to defeat the agresive nature of a team palying like that.

I have an idea. I think I know how we can mesh together as a team. And yes we do need to commit to practicing. Not just saying we're gonna do it. I think we need to do several rounds of different scenarios. Like CTF, Collection, Zones, Hero, Dogfights, etc etc. I noticed when we did the Dogfight match only, it was easy to tell who our pilots are and who aren't. I think by running different scenarios like that we can pinpoint who's good at what and make that their assigned roles. So here's my step by step idea:

Step 1: Practice server during the week/weekends. Run different scenarios (CTF, Collection, Hero, Zones, Dogfight). Examples, dogfight only server will determine who the pilots are and who aren't. In the other scenarios do battles where we can only use jeeps. Another scenario where we can only use tanks, another scenario would be to see who are good flag carriers. Stuff like that. See who's a sniper, who's good at stealth. We'll have to try everything to see what talents we all have.

Step 2: Once the roles are pinned down it'll be easy to practice with some real battle situations. We can practice by breaking off into two teams. For example, the two SPUD teams will run a CTF scenario with each player having their assigned roles. We can simulate an attack where one SPUD team base rapes the other SPUD's home base. This will be a good way to practice on how to break a base rape and secure another zone. I think we need to run our clan through such hardcore situations that way we can learn to operate together in a situation like that. The assigned roles will help out a lot. Pilots, tank gunners, jeep drivers, snipers etc etc will know what they need to do.

I just realized this is a lot of info. So I am gonna make a new thread about it. I want you guys to add on your ideas. I think running through practice gauntlets is the only way we'll be able to eventually match the aggressiveness that MXG destroyed us with earlier. One thing we cannot lose though is to have fun. Having fun and playing with strategy will make us dangerous.

The brand new thread for this is at:

Good Lord, it sounds like it was Wookies agains Ewoks out there... they say a sound beating is good for the complection, so we've got that going for us! :ax:

Wish I could have been there, if for no other reason than to see how they did it (and to see that tk that was mentioned... sometimes the accidental ones can be pretty funny! I remember when Warhawk first came out, and tk was automatic and rampent, I would come tearing ass into a base with a jeep and automatically drive up to the flag <zones>. Inverably, there'd be 3 or 4 of my guys just standing around right in front not moving and I would mow them down before I could stop. Or, you'd be cruising over a bridge on Island Outpost and some poor bastard would spawn in front of you, or hear you coming, not look and jump to what they thought was the safe side <in fact, jumping directly in front of you> and become street pizza. Those were the days...).

Yeah jezz it was a nightmare. MXG came at us like a polished machine. they could have won the tournament if they had been playing that well. i dont think we have ever fought a team that polished.

well i could always ask rommel how they practice and prepare and how much and often they play as a squad. he is on friendly trerms with me so he would answer i think

yeah worse it was like sith vs those frog people from the EP I movie.
