they should still have rookie server correct? well now i wouldn't be able to get into servers level 2 or lower if it was the old way.

Captain is a bizzare one you have to have 50hrs in a aircraft and a certain medal so i have to learn how to f f f f flllllllyyyy *shivers*

I just went up a rank to 2nd lieutenant. Its alot faster getting ranks with 50 point bonus for winning. I have over 2000 point just from that. I have about 200 hours now so it isn't that fast.

I agree, with no real bonuses with each rank, other than clothing, I could care less what my rank is. Now in COD4, I care about my rank, because I get better weapons the higher it is.
