Yeah everyone needs other intrests.

I am training / learning the guitar. My grandpa dead played all string instruments and i never had the dispostion to do it while he was alive. At least i am doing it now. I always loved music but was way to distracted to learn at any other point in my life.

I have an exercise regimine becase i dont want to develop adult onset diabetes. whihch runs rampant through the males on my dads side.
and i love to eat and cook and i love sugar. so if i want to enjoy food the rest of my life and not worry about it hurting my health. I am making a Tres Leches cake when my buddy and his wife come out next month.

I do read books/ comics. on the comics side its mostly starwars but the new conan is staying true to the Rob Howard vision which makes it very good.
Books. meh. anything fiction sicence, biographys , comedeys.

I have my A+ , Network +, Security + and am playing aroudn with VisBasic 2k8 but am being lazzy with it.

edit.

oh yeah i enjoy running a 1.4 somthing celeron test machine with differnt Linux/ Debian / Gnu/ Unix distros to see how they run.

www.distrowatch.org. < very cool source

end edit

I have toyed with short sotries and actually aplied to UNO's creative fiction progam but was rejected.

TV, MOvies, etc....

god i just signed up on anohter message board. man these things are addicting. George Carlin used to make fun of bizzare special topic magazines. the same joke applies here.

that was one thing. I did not have the detrermination or the dedication or the concentration to learn. I was so distracted. meh. I had some fun and in my way of thinking that is somewhat important too.

Hmm I never joined the school with my guitar but I am playing in a band with my friends. Its pretty damn fun but I learn more by looking up songs on my own. I totally agree with you on everything cloud, when im all stressed or anything I just sit back and play my guitar.

I have to use basic tabs with the chords written in letters. I was attempting to teach my seaf to read music but got side tracked. i need to pick that book back up and finish.

I took lessons for about 6 months. I learned some cool things but had not yet gotten into phrasing before i moved. I know some blues scales in E , A , I have a penatonic in man i am probably wrong here but i think its D any way 3 spots on the fret boad is a variation of that penatonic in A, E and G? i forget the last one. I know the C maj penatonic. a couple of blues boxes on the 7 th and 5th and 9th frets.

all cool stuff but i want to know how to read and to learn the variations of the major minor chords better.

I bet he has interests that aren't games, they just have to do with games. Stuff like looking up games on the internet and posting on a gaming forum.

I sort of make my own (very crude) games, and other programming things. (Crude games being DOS games).

oh yes...back to the DOS days, and all the FUN games we had then....thru countless hours of typing in commands I never did disarm that bomb on that damn ship.....
I hate it when the voices in my head go silent.....I never know what those fuckers are up to.

So the ship blew up?

The games I try to make aren't DOS RPGs, though, I can't make those, nor really have a desire to.
