HDCP - is kind of a security handshake for HD content. I'm not positive but I think anything with HDMI would be
Hdcp compatible.

Hmm, so does Japan use the same power outlets as the us, or Europe for that matter?
Make sure you look at that. Also they have that monitor in 23, 23.6 and 24". Some have speakers and some don't.

Re: anyone knows a good computer monitor????
We just ordered it on Thursday. I wont get it until next week.
I chose the 25" over the 24 cause it has the most connections. HDMI, dvi and display port. I want dvi and HDMI for my computer and ps3. Display port is a bonus. But some of the smaller screens only had HDMI and display port or HDMI and dvi. Plus the 25 went on sale.
I have an older 22" LG screen. But it kind of sucks as its not very bright. This Asus screen gets good reviews for brightness and contrast, but reviews always have people bitching so its hard to say.
I guess I can let you know next week...

Re: anyone knows a good computer monitor????
So this monitor kicks ass. Its really bright which was a complaint I had with my old one.
The only thing bad I see so far is the stand. Only has tilt adjustment, not even swivel. Which is ok. But the base of the stand is kind of small. Smaller then my old 20 inch. Its a little shaky if you tap it, like when hitting the brightness or input buttons. I put a couple of small thin cork pads on the base to level it out better. Though I do this to a lot of things I buy so no big deal. But this is something to consider if you don't have somewhere solid to place it on.
Battlefield 3 looks awesome on it :)
