Really really sad story. However the to-be husband seems to have an amazing strength of mind and positive outlook on life. I'd go insane with cynicism.

I wont put a happy face on that. my take though is that it reminds me of just how vulnerable we are and how delicate of an animal we are. all sorts of natural events war, man made disasters.

the best thing i can think of is that life is suffering. although its kind of unfair to the young guy and to the tennant that i am refering to maybe to sum it up like that. its hard to understand somthing like this really unless you go through somthing simalar. i am just reacting to this in my insulated way i have no idea what this poor guy is going through. sucks.
