Yes, it is the internet, and people only share what personal info they want here, but once posted it is then public, as this site is publicly open, I don't care to have my info public. Look at all the privacy issues facebook has. Even tho we only have a few remaining members we are looked at and indexed daily by many search engines and numerous visitors.

When you see the number of members and guests that are online, then those are actual people browsing around here, I do have 50 bots that I allow to index this place, and they show as there own user group and their name shows also.

I browse many many sites anonymously, so if any personal info is posted about anyone, then anyone has access to it.....

meh... I will just stay an anonymous fish

When you search something and something pops up that references this site, ppl click the link and come here, once here they look around for a while and then leave.... everyone does it daily without even realizing it, when you go to ANY site, you show as a visitor, unless you are a member and are signed in.... so, are you a member of every site you visit?

For example;

look at the 11th and 18th post, this was a random person that stumbled upon this site, (more than likely was searching for something on a search engine) a linked sent him here, he actually registered just to comment...
