There is actually a science behind trance music.

The alpha (i think) brainwave's in the brain, also known as the pleasure centre, is stimulated by frequencies between 8-12 HZ. But as you probably know, that is lower than human beings can hear. BUT!!!!!!

16th note's at 145 BPM (like the snare drum's in the "climax" of trance tracks)

Imply a frequency of 10 hZ.

this is a similar theory to how binaural sounds work, by slightly delaying each side of the stereo mix, it implies frequencies to the brain.

Don't believe trance music does that.

Well that bites ass that my White Room album was a 1991 release, and that the original tracks from 1989 were remixed.

Yeah it ain't pretty, that's the ugly side of the KLF. the strange thing is they seem to have never wanted fame, and after getting it they hated it. (they gave away 5 millon pounds to charity, and burned the remaining 1 million pounds.) and left the business in 92'. which beg's they question of why they bothered, they had already gotten a number 1 before with docterin the tardis as the timelords. why would they continue on, they could have done a lot more for music itself. it's disappointing, the 88-89 pure trance series is a quantum leap in music. They really just invented it out of nearly nothing, maybe the scene in GOA india at the time, i've never heard of them going to india though.
